I would have never thought Trinidad did more than the Hopkins fight that is strange, I would have never thought Mayorga would do more than the first Mosley fight neither then again people love that crazy side of Ricardo.

    Nice.

It's not a given because I need a felony waiver to get in, and those are like rarely passed out, specially now.

Did you know that you require a waiver even if you were charged with a crime, not even convicted, just charged and dropped.

I was charged with a felony battery for hitting a guy I did not hit. (Even camera proof from the place of where it happened, that I did not hit the guy)

The charge was later dropped but I require a waiver, so I am getting the people of the system I was around to write letters for me, possibly will even get the DA to help me out, who charged me.

If you look at how the Sturm ppv sales are quite low. What does that say?

To me it says you still need a strong B side to sell. Mayorga sold himself well during the Oscar fight by totally direspecting him, he even did a better job than mayweather at that.

Comeback fight for Floyd that perhaps had even more promotion than the Hatton fight considering the layoff and that Floyd's defeat of Hatton was part of the promotion.

Usually after big victories in sports, the victor gain popularity and thus attracts more attention.

I think it's surprising to many of us that the ppv did so well because of the slow ticket sales which we can now say isn't an accurate gauge of potential ppv buys.

It's not that simple doofus. Take a marketing class and learn something.

Mexicans and Hispanics are arguably the Largest PPV consumers according to HBO.

Marquez being the last great and oldest Mexican fighter right now, got the benefit of having the entire Mexican market behind him, coupled with Tecate promotions (Mexican beer), GBP, Oscar De La Hoya, and MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE WEEKEND.

    Think about it doofus.

PBF is a good draw, but to get huge #s he needs a fighter who will pay to see him.

Even Oscar needed that. Without a big fan base, he did not do very good.

Thats ****ed up to have to go through that for something you did not do~ I had been locked up in prison from 17-21 for something well I did but did not do, took the wrap for my pops, I had no idea how hard life would be when I got out, having a felony conviction especially a drug charge does not exactly get you ideal jobs, however its been more than 16 years and I havent had as much as a parking ticket, my record was sealed and destroyed last year :good

My record was expunged because it happened when I was 16. But the Navy works with the FBI so they see it no matter what.

So I have to disclose it no matter what.

The sad part is, the juviniles coming into where I was (SouthWest Justice Center) they want to go home so badly instead of waiting to go through court and the whole process.

The system opts to give them an option of waiting to go to court, which is months and months of time of waiting in jail.

Or to take a felony conviction as an adult, these kids are 14/15/16.

    They are ****ed.

EDIT - FOrgot the last part, good to hear that for you.

That just says basicly nobody knows who Felix Sturm was, and to be honest I was at Wildcard when this all went down, Oscar showed up at the gym took Kingsley Ikeke out, paid him step aside money gave him the keys to a new car, and thats how Oscar got that fight, it was a last min deal to get Oscar some sort of title so they could set up Hopkins DLH.

Nobody knew who sturm was even then Hopkins was on the undercard with Allen and it still did that bad in terms of numbers, However do you think Mayweather right now can fight an un heard of "Champion" That nobody in America heard of and sell that many PPV hook ups?

I was tried as an adult at 17, however your right you wont pass a federal background check no matter what you do. I have come to learn about that myself since my record was sealed and destroyed.
