How would it flop, floyd is the A side and Mosley would be the strong B side.

    The fight would do well.

Oh I dont have the mosley stats of mayorga or Winky.

I do have some mosley numbers

    Vargas/Mosley - 420,000 buys (02/2006)

    Mosley/Vargas II - 350,000 buys (07/2006)

    Shane Mosley V Iscar(6/00) 590,000 buys = $29.5 million

    Shane Mosley v Oscar II( 9/03) 950,000 buys = $48.4 million

He was a mega star who was comming off of another loss to Mosley~ it wasnt a title fight there was no good undercard.
And when Floyd fought Baldimor, Floyd was the up comming star, he was the P4P best fighter in the world was oscar when he fought Campos?
and being the best fighter in the world P4P he should not have done less than the campos fight

I watched the FMJ-JMM fight with a room full of casuals who all were extremely excited when Mosley entered the ring and confronted Mayweather.

I think you underestimate Mosley's appeal as an opponent to a prime draw like Floyd. The promotion for this potential showdown would be through the roof as Oscar has already casually called it the "All American Showdown."

No, he was a mega star coming off a huge victory over Vargas.

Campas was the warm up to Mosley.

I see both sides of the argument and either one could be right. I however believe Mosley vs Mayweather would do well. Mayweather however irritating outside of the ring is an excellent marketer. Believe me they would use his last post fight interview to get people buying the fight left and right. Just my opinion however.

Yea. You look at how Marquez - Mayweather did, and Mosley should be able to add a good 250-500 to that number.

Mosley's a strong B side and combined with Mayweather could do big with the right promotion. Mayweather would have to turn into a dick again.

Why are you comparing Floyd numbers with Baldomir to Oscars numbers with Tampas?

We aint talking about the old Floyd Mayweather numbers, we are talking about post oscar dela hoya mayweather, who was granted the stage to become a ppv attraction.

Did floyd ever do dancing with the stars, WWE, 24/7 when he was fighting the likes of Baldomir, nope he has done that only recently which is reflecting in his new ppv numbers.

How long has Oscar been a ppv attraction why would you even bother compare:huh

We know Oscar has been a ppv star for a long time. No one is doubting that.

What we are doubting is the fact that Oscar couldn't do 1million against an unknown. Which means he needs a strong B side.

This is a gigantic failure of epic proportions:lol::nut. So what Baldy pulled the upset lol... He was still unknown to the public. Floyd ppv with Baldy is considered good. Dlh can get in the ring with Bert from Sesame street and sell 500,000 ppv buys. This is just another cheap, weak, pathetic attempt to discredit Floyd's ppv power lol...
