fail-i go to a gym in san diego and the gym is actually pretty evenly divided between white/black/hispanic and since oscar quit against pac we have alot more filipinos signing up....the main fans in california are mexican but if you go to new york than i bet you would find alot of blacks and italians in the gyms as well as puerto ricans and still many mexicans.....

You and Buttass are not basing your opinion on reality. Day after day I kept telling Bux that just because you gain a following on this site talking about Pac does not make you speak for the fans. Floyd-JMM would sell, and I told Buttass that, and he never believed me. Now you are falling into the same trap thinking about what Floyd can't do when the facts are Floyd can sell ppv's even if YOU think his fan base isn't big. Why would Floyd-Shane do worse ppv wise than Floyd-JMM? How did you come to that conclusion? Because Shane isn't a draw by himself? Not good enough Uli...

Bazooka, Buttass, and a few others have no clue how the sport of boxing operates when it comes to ppv fights. They don't really hate Floyd, they hate his big mouth, and it alters their thinking. They'll tell you they would buy this fighters ppv before Floyds, Cotto-Pac will out sell Floyd-JMM...things like that. They don't care about the sport in general, just the fighter they like. They aren't even lying to us lol... They truly just do not know lol, and that isn't bad.

I knew the fight would sell, over 500,000k which would still be good, but a mil is great for boxing yet these two posters, and a few others short sighted thinking had us reading posts that had nothing to do with nothing-no offense. 24/7 has helped every fighters market value.

Bazooka knows his ****..he juss dislikes Floyds style I think...He prefers a more straight forward fighting style as opposed to paying for and watching a defensive style...but he gives floyds skillz credit...he juss wouldnt buy the Mosley fight over a Floyd fight cuz he prolly wanna see more of a fight rather than a clinic....I respect that too..Im not a big Margarito fan but I do like his style cuz it keeps me on the edge of my seat at times wondering how he can block so many punches and keep coming and than win rounds which if you think about it is a feat in itself...again to all the haters AS A TRUE BOXING FAN YOU SHOULD GIVE CREDIT TO FIGHTERS WHERE ITS DUE...BAZOOKA DOES AND POSTERS LIKE THAT BUXZER GUY DONT...

DONT LET ME EVEN GET ON POSTERS LIKE FARMBOXER

People are underestimating this being Mayweather's comeback fight.

Sds, Bazooka has fake hate. You can call a fighter boring, I don't care. You can say you will watch one style over the other, I don't care. But the man has tried to cheapen Floyd's career, along with Pac's bandwagon fans, and we can all see it. We don't demand that Bazooka and others speak highly of Floyd, just give credit when it is due.

Don't tell me JMM was responsible for most of the ppv buys. That is sick to read. Their disses don't come from what Floyd does in the ring, it is what he does out of the ring. Floyd fought Hatton and JMM. He is criticized for facing two supposed smaller guys. He's been the smaller guy moving up for the most part yet is criticized for fighting those two, and Baldomir rather than the ww's when he is not even retired yet. Like I said, had JMM been faster than Floyd, we wouldn't be calling this fight a mismatch. Floyd solves his opponents style and creates the mismatch. If Floyd can challenge bigger guys, the smaller guys can challenge Floyd also.

JMM-Floyd was called a mismatch yet Floyd-PAc isn't in the minds of some because of fans think that Pac's aggression is better suited against Floyd. Pac could not dominate JMM so I don't get the logic. PAc is too small for Floyd. People have this idea that PAc's aggression will work better than JMM's counter punching lol... Yeah, aight lol... I need to see it to believe it. Floyd owns too many advantages over PAc and the only advantage that is even close is speed, and you'll see the difference in their speed when and if PAc has the balls to take this fight.

Floyd's absence accounted for that chunk. Also, got to consider that there is really onlly one big Mexican name these days, so they all supported solidly one boxer. Unlike before, it was divided into EM, MB and JMM.

The Latin fans basically run the sport now, especially in the USA. Why do you think PBF was wearing sombreros and such to the ring recently?

You have been around long enough to know me, I love pressure fighters, Fighters that take risk and make it a dog fight, again my favorite fighter of all time is Evander Holyfield its no secret I love HOlyfield looked up to him since i Have been in short pants...

Floyd had that honestly at 135 he had that dog fight in him, but since Castillo its changed for some reason or the other. I wish he would come back to that he has the talent to do it but I think in order for Floyd to come out like that again he has to start beleiving in himself again, I think he himself does not know if he can truely dig it out in a war against a full fledged welter......

Sooner or later there will be a fighter that he faces that will bring that out of him and when that does believe all Floyd doubters and haters will have no choice but to respect him, I can not wait for that moment, just as the moment for Jones when he fought Tarver in their first bout it was then that I saw the lion in Roy and who could not respect that?

    Lots of people

Specially those who scored some of the rounds from 3-6 for Tarver just to give the fight to Tarver.
