Nope. 1.2. Previous record was Lewis v Tyson on 750k. That's still impressive considering our population is 1/5 of yours and the fight was at 4am.

Alot of truth here to this, look I dont know how many of you live in states in which there are alot of Mexicans, and Mexican americans but one thing I can tell you in California, Mexicans and Mexican americans love boxing they support their fighters 100%

Even in the amateurs out here when you go to the shows you will see a packed house of family and friends to support a 8 year old kid who is fighting, at nearly every single event there are loads of Hispanics showing support, even those who dont have kids in the event show up to watch.

Marquez made 400k fighting "Mexicutioner" Manny Pacquiao and did $0 fighting Chris John. His big fights with Diaz and Casa weren't on PPV either.

That's all you need to know. If Mayweather wasn't in the ring it would have been another free event.

if it wasnt Mayweather in there and just another nobody it would have been free, but if Floyd was also fighting a jake himself it sure wouldnt have been on PPV and you know that.

He didnt make **** fighting John but ask yourself where was the fight? what network carried it? who was HBO paying attention to at that time? (Pacquiao)

if Floyd didnt fight Marquez and came back to fight lets say Collazo do you think that would have been on PPV? :think Do you think the numbers would have been similar if it was?:think

Come out to the Amateur shows in Cali, its the truth Mexicans love boxing more evidence of this is the sold out Staples Center for the Margarito Mosley fight, of which the majority and I mean majority was all for Margarito~

everyone I knew bought the fight. that's pretty much someone from each ethnicity. Most of the people that I know aren't even big into boxing so that's something I suppose

Floyd team didn't expect the reaction the fight would generate in England itself. There arent a lot of examples of ppv's doing crazy numbers within the UK.

Boxing is nowhere near a popular sport in Britain.

I guarantee you if Khan keeps on winning impressively and gets the whole of england backing him, dont be surprised to see Khan V Mayweather at Wembely Stadium. The fight would sell out the arena.

But that is at least 2 years away, Khan needs some big names on his resume to make that fight ever happen. But Mayweather has said he wants to come over to england and fight.:bbb

I'm not talking out of my ass. I'm giving an opinion based off of market research. The Latino and Urban markets(a.k.a black people) are two of the biggest PPV markets out there.
