Well if he made 1million fighting Marquez when everyone thought 350k would be THE MOST he makes and impressive IF he does then yes I do believe he would have done a lot fighting Collazo too.

Pacquiao vs DLH was advertised like Mayweather/Marquez was and Mayweather nearly made MORE fighting MARQUEZ than Pac, who supposedly has an army of loyalists after him, did fighting none other than DLH.

To make it simple, his return was awaited and appreciated, end of discussion. Pacquiao vs Marquez II was advertised well too and it did 400k, something people were IMPRESSED by back then considering it was the highest Pac ever made after making $1million fighting Morales THREE times.

I guess Marquez is a bigger pay per view draw than Pacquaio :lol::lol:

You have back tracked so badly its laughable.

What happened to this ppv will bomb. These guys cant draw flies.

Check the history books and see how many time Mayweather comes up in the top ppv fights of all time.

    Coincidence I THINK NOT:hi:

Please man, save it. A few clicks and these guys can see you claimed this fight will be a failure in PPV numbers so shut the **** up about you knowing "fans". Only fans you know are the trailer park fans and Zelenhoff fans being his promoter and all.

sure you can take the fact that Floyd was fighting a big name into account for the numbers. Just make sure you also look at Floyds past PPV numbers and compare them to JMMs.

It was Floyd's return. It was always gonna be PPV no matter who was in the ring.

No it did not, Hatton sold 2m in his own country.

Hatton does not have any followers in USA, Marquez does have the latino community within US borders.

It's people like you who are bad for the sport..

It's just like Floyd says he never gets the credit he deserves.

He showed you what he can do when he on the A side of the equation. Yet you still hate.

Just like you will still hate when you say he has to fight PAC. Then when he beats him it just another excuse, PAC was to small blah blah blah he needs to fight a true WW mosley.

Then Mayweather beats Mosley, Mosley to old he got shot over night. :patsch

If you cant even give the man credit for this, what chance does he have with you haters giving him any credit for his future fights?

    :deal

He cant draw flies to ****, How many of his fans went to see the fight in Vegas?:think Again none of you have been able to even address this issue, you all avoid this and act as if Floyd himself carried the entire PPV numbers and ticket sales alone you know damn well there wasnt **** for FLoyd fans at the fight.... A draw can sell both PPV and seats.

YOu are correct here and I should take that into consideration.

    Let's look at the facts.

Marquez last two PPVs did 400k and 100k (Pac 2 and Casamayor)

Now he doubles that in 1 PPV in Mayweather. But he was the draw.

    Let's look at Hatton

Did not have a PPV in the USA before this. Hits 920k or so with Mayweather. Record PPV in UK.

In his fight with Pac he failed to reach this point.

    Now let's look at DLH.

Mayweather - DLH 2.4 Million Buys

Last 3 PPVs before Mayweather were

    Mayorga, Hopkins, Sturm

    Mayorga-DLH - 935,000

    Hopkins - DLH - 1 Million

    Sturm - DLH - 380,000.

DLH's last 3 PPVs do not equal what he did with Mayweather.

Yet none of the last fighters Mayweather fought had ever been on such successful PPVs before but it was them that did the drawing.

And stop acting like Mayweather fought a nobody it wouldn't be this high.

of course it wouldn't be this high! Not even DLH could draw great if he didn't have a strong B side.

His best PPV against someone not worthy of PPV was Javier Castillejo that did 400k.

So please stop acting like DLH was some king of PPV when he himself needed a strong B side to do great.

Address what issue, who ever said to be a fan of a fighter you have to go see them fight.

What makes you think that there are a lot of fans that don't want to pay ridiculous money to go watch a boxing match live but will indeed pay to watch it at home?

Marquez and Pac might have the hardcore following fans coming to see them live, so why did they only do 400k with a bandwagon of fans?

The fact is Marquez has the Mexican community while Mayweather now seems to have the whole of America, black, blue, green, interested in watching him perform and entertain. This is the reason why you are seeing these incredible numbers.

Tell me why Oscar did 2.4 mil with Mayweather?
