I'm Confused: Floyd vs JMM sells More Than Floyd vs Hatton Does?

Shane has never been a huge draw. Yes, Mosley is liked by everyone, but I can't think of one uncle, cousin of Mexican friend that would pay $50 to watch Mosley fight Mayweather.

I'm not saying Mexicans won't, but I'm sure the vast Majority would rather just find out who won the next day in the news.

Mayweather is a huge draw bottom line. Now that DLH has retired he is the PPV king. Whether people buy his fights to support him or hoping to see him lose, people are interested in seeing him fight.

 

Nobody predicted it would make or break anything had the fight went on the original date it may have been a total Flop we know why it was pushed back with the "Rib Injury" They were in trouble selling this fight, they had to get Tecate on board and offer a PPV rebate and needed a couple extra months to get this fight promoted had it happend on the date it was supposed to it would have failed big time.

Thanks to Oscar, Tecate and Marquez drinking **** on 24/7 it did very well.

 

Not sure, people said it would do well, like me and Schafer, other people said it would do miserably like ****** ass Buxzer and the *******s, and several said it would crack over 500K.

I knew it would do well, because when most of my spanish speaking colleagues, and family members were hyped up about it, I know the PPV will be huge.

 

Strange cus every latino I know loves Mosley.

 

That is crap. If all these people were what you say they are and it isn't Mayweather... Why is it that they have the paydays of their careers fighting Mayweather? Mayweather is the one selling the fights!

This is the most money Marquez has EVER made. Where were the Mexican fight fans before? Sure, they played a HUGE part in the buys. However Mayweather is the draw.

If you tune in to see him win. If you tune in to see him lose. If you tune in because you are a fight fan. The common denominator is... Mayweather makes you tune in!

I can almost Guarantee that Mayweather vs a bum would never do what Oscar did vs Campas.
