alexander won, but it was not his best performance...i think people are more outraged at the margain rather than the winner (IMO this fight could be scored anywhere from 9-3 kotelnik to 7-5 alexander). im assuming that because khan dominated the same guy they moved him up, not even realizing that kotelnik may have been better recently because of his new trainer. with that being said, the time frame that they both fought kotelnik in is comparable, and from the recent common opponent one would assume that khan is a better fighter.

no it isnt so much that alexander got moved down. he was swapped with khan. which is understandable considering khan beat kotelnik when he was a prime active world champion, and he beat him very convincingly.

alexander struggled vs a 13 month inactive kotelnik whio hadnt won a fight in a long time. obviously khan should be ranked higher when you take this into acount.

 

Like others said, because of his performance. You brought up Floyd-Castillo 1 and that fight was a robbery. As much as I like Floyd, that fight was a robbery. On the other hand, I'm a fan of JMM & Pac too but JMM won the second fight in my view. I'll rescore the first soon.
