Im conviced that Calzaghe fans are the most sophisticated Boxing fans!!!

Damn I mean they almost had me there for a bit.. I mean who else but them can build up a fighter like Kessler to great status. And they did this months ahead in these forums...they did it so well that I had to look at Kessler in Wikepedia

You see the trick is to praise your fighters opponent in a very subtle manner and keep your fighters expectations low.

As a result when the expected (at least to alot of people who knows boxing) occurs

it is then followed by this surprised "Wow I didnt really think Joe was this great!" threads or "Wow Kesslers great, I told you so, he won 3 rounds, did you see that shot in round 4?" Clever aint it??

or

the more direct approach of "See I told yah Joes the greatest...look he dominated Kessler..which I told you was great!"

Such total unabashed mindgames to somehow project something as more than it is..which is a good fighter beating an average fighter in arguably the shallowest division in boxing.

Whats a pity thou...is alot of folks are really taken by this mental bombardment... Never in this forums history that a win of this significance swayed so many otherwise reasonable posters...

We even have one thread that states "70% Joe beats a 100% Kessler"
but done in a way that the poster geniunely believes that Joe isnt the same fighter as he once was...False humility at its finest.

Meanwhile we had another fight that night...lost in all of this was JMMs masterful performance...poor JMM..you wished you had Joes fans...I mean they could have built up Juarez to King Kong status.. he'd look rosy now

 

I have no problems with all the glee after your fighter fights...whats galling is to insult ones intelligence and make believe that Kessler is somewhat an insurmountable force to be reckoned with...And to do it in such sleigh of hand "Ohh I am now conviced how great Kessler is" ...geez he just got dominated!!

As the world saw yesterday...Kesslers is good but have alot of flaws..his footwork is terrible...

Im not sure what the odds are on this fight but People made alot of money on Joe

 

Look JCal is Top 3p4p Material..He'll be a stylistic nightmare for alot of guys..I frankly believe that he beats BHOP at this point..But to be so coy as to say "I was really surprised Joe did this tonight" " He proved how great he was" is to be straight..a bit corny
