im convinced de la hoya cant promote

    after watching him talk during all his announcement to fights he sounds really boringggg and for a sec i almost didnt want to watch the press confrence of khan vs garcia.

    i am know convinced that richard schaefer is the one who really promotes the fights it looks like de la hoya is brain dead .

    and yeah i know golden boy has promoted on of the biggest fights out there but i dont think it was oscar who promoted them.

    whats your definition of promoting???

    just the fact the banner these guys is fighting under is Golden Boy Promotions is DLH's work.

    If your saying you believe he isnt the brains behind the operation,well of course

    yeah i mean i was watching him talk during khan vs garcia and i personally felt that de la hoya is either brain dead or gone stupid from all that beating he took in boxing.

    Something was up with him

    he sounded very slow and strange

    almost confused like he couldn't read his sheet of paper

    just stood at the back looking all derpy not paying attention to much around him while staring

    DLH is the man who has surrounded himself with the right people to run GBP. He isn't the person managing the fight promotions.....he's the guy who put the right people in place to ensure his company runs like a well oiled machine. DLH is a very intelligent business man.

    He couldn't even ****ing read Khans resume. I'm not even a huge Khan fan but I could have remembered his last 5 or so fights off the dome. Make me head of Goldenboy.

    DLH doesn't need to promote, he can make you disappear whenever he wants to if he wanted to (If you know what I mean). That fool is the richest boxer with hundreds of millions of dollars and he can have Schaefer or pay anyone to promote it better.

    did u see him speak he couldnt even read what was on the paper he had to repeat himself a lot of times he was to slowwww. it looks like that beating caught up to him

    what? he was just a little out of it. he never behaves like that. you're calling him punch drunk based off the speech he gave? and either way, it doesn't change the fact that you have no clue what he does behind the scenes.
