gotta preference my statement by saying witter needs to performe near his best, if he does then he wins convincingly, this is his fight to lose, but thats the thing with Junior he is so erratic so it depends what Witter shows up. He can look fantastic some nights then go of the boil and look very average in other nights. The fight with Ndou sums up Witter, he looks sensational for a few rounds, gets 2 knockdowns and then gets lethargic, lazy and passive in the second half and almost loses it. He must keep focused which i think he will as the khan fight is certain to happen so he has that incentive, i don't see a case of deja vou here like others have said.
I honestly think that he has either got to perform outstandingly well to give the judges no excuses or knock Alexander out to get the win...I think that he knows this as well so it could be explosive.
Really hoping Witter can win this one. Hoping to catch it online somewhere, hate watching fights online - but unfortunately we have no other option!
witter will win by a close UD on the cards, but the fight will actually not be that close in reality....witter should take this easily IMO...
From what I've seen of Alexander I'm not impressed by him at all. If Witter is anything near the level he's been for the past 2/3 years(including the Bradley loss) he should win this. Alexander's biggest strength is decent handspeed, big he's not a big puncher at all and makes plenty of mistakes. He very much still looks like a prospect(probably because he still is) and doesn't deserve to have had this opportunity thrown up like this. It's going to work against him too. Witter ko imo, he'd be wise to put pressure on Alexander and while I don't think he will he'll still get the desired result.
