    .. Stand up and then to do a post fight interviews? And what im curious is hopkins did say he' ll fight with 1 arm. <<< If thats the case then why it took him long to say he' ll fight with 1 arm after the doctor repeately say (can u continue?) atleast 8 times? And how in the world hopkins wasnt in a stretcher right away after he torn his shoulder when he was in pain? To me hopkins quit in which it tells everything. And I still think he fake the injury to get out of the fight.

    Great points rayray, I'm surprised no one else has mentioned Hopkins quitting and faking an injury.

    saying he can fight with one arm was his way of saying he is too hurt.

    A stretcher is needed for someone who cant walk

    There are a lot of unanswered questions , in times gone by Bernard would have had his purse held until independant confirmation that this injury happend in the ring .

    I think he was hurt a little , but looked for a way out , he has done it before.

    A stretcher is needed not by broken legs or foot or ankle, it also needed for a very bad shoulder injury so that way a fighter, player or just a person wont have to move their shoulder in which it stays put. If not then how come hopkins didnt wear a sling to protect the shoulder?

    BHop fell on his ass first -there goes a load to the lower back- and on his elbow second IIRC. The way he was (coping?) with pain during the ref's talk and during the interview, reflected a much tougher man than the one who got injured from a mild to average drop on a ring canvas, rolling in pain. I expected to hear him slur his words, reflect the state of shock, look all weak and drained from the separation... nah. He looked fine, especially for a 46 yr old. Did he have a triangular bandage wrapped around arm & shoulder to support the injury? I can't remember. Fukk you Bernard.

    Hopkins hurt his shoulder after being body slammed in the wrestling fashion by Echols, fought out of a single left jab for two rounds and came back to stop him... The argument is weak since it was Pat Russell who called it off.

    Hopkins is all guts. Imaging standing up for an interview with injured shoulder? That's what any brave warrior should do.

    Strechers are usually only necessary if someone can't walk.

    My memory is hazy from the post fight interview but he didn't conduct it in sign language did he?

    Many ppl have been on a stretcher with a torn seperate shoulder. When a person that is a fighter, player really really in pain with shoulder injuries, I see them be on a stretcher.

    I have seen this.

    If you in enough pain , that shoulder would be strapped up and you would be out of there , it wouldnt be interview time.
