Im curious, why does everybody rate Maidana so highly?

    Maidana is fun to watch and a hard puncher, but why are so many claiming him as one of the top LWW? Is it because he beat Ortiz and its the first time you have seen him?
    Remember Maidana was beaten by Kotelnik who dosent get rated as highly by alot of the fans on here.

    doesn't matter who beat him over a year ago in a fight that many had him winning....what matters is what he's done now, cayo and ortiz are 2 really good names to have on your resume......

    Don't think anyone rates him over Khan, Alexander or Bradley, and who would you put between them and Maidana with Hatton's absence? Chino is fun to watch and packs the punch to pull off the upset vs. anyone, and since most consider him the underdog vs. the top3, I think he's rated just right.

    I dunno i thought it was very close fight. Easily could of gone either way imo like so many Kotelnik fights.

    its because of the devasting fashion in which he beat ortiz. sure the kid has flaws but those can usually be corrected. you cant really improve your power. youre born with that. same goes for heart.
