thanks for your great knowledge, but are you telling me that are there not any possible welterwight contenders instead of making a fighter come out of his natural weight and jump two divisions, i dont care what you call it, it was dangerous moving up in weight like that JMM could of seriously damaged himself, there were plenty more options at welterweight than to fight JMM

    That help you?

Pac fans always seem to avoid this question when asked... or don't really have an answer

Before you criticize someone's logic, make sure your written sentence is free of errors. :good

Are you aware that Pac was a HUGE underdog against DLH? Are you aware many feared for his health? If that was cherrypicking, that was cherrypicking because there was LOTS of money involved, it was still a very HIGH risk fight though, what you would call HIGH RISK, HIGH REWARD.

Hatton was undefeated at 140 and coming off a great victory against Mallignagi.

Cotto was coming off 2 consecutive wins, one against Clottey and again, it was considered a close matchup as many wanted to see how Pac would deal with a bigger man.

Clottey was the best option at the time, a top WW who was outclassed.

    Now lets look at PBF:
Mosley I give him all the credit in the world for.

JMM - He fails to make weight against a career FW and a blown up LW at 36yrs old. Please.

Hatton - Good win but lets not forget that the only thing Hatton ever did at 147 was arguably loose to Collazo.

DLH - Great win, all the credit to him.

Now here lies the difference, those 4 fights of PBF was spread accross 4 years. Those 4 fights of Pac was spread over 1.5 years. More to that, Pac is fighting these guys at a weight nobody thought he could compete at.

Quite simply, Pac is doing what people perceived to be impossible, so impposible it could only be attributed to PED's and he has been much more active. Compare Pac's body of work over the last 3 years vs Floyds.

Did you count how many times Pac hd been matched up with Leonard, hagler, duran, hearns, etc?

Unfortunately, Mayweather is the flavor of the month so yu expect more threads.
