I hope my boy pulled it out. I've seen two of his other fight on youtube and he has good power in his right hand. He's a kickboxer but he seems to do more punching than kicking.:yep
Whats up guys, thanks for asking. I won, knocked him down 3 times in the 4 rounds. Won a UD. The dude was reallly tough though. He was a little bigger then me, and brought a gameplan of murdering my legs at all costs. It was basically me boxing him and him kicking my legs and then tying me up. I dropped him hard with a hard straight right against the ropes in 2nd round. Then he was on wobbly legs after that and he fell again, which they called a slip. Then I dropped him one more time in the seconde with another straight right followed by short left hook. He got up and made it out of the round. In the 3rd I dropped him early on, he sat back on the ropes and they gave him a standing 8. But he was durable and the leg kicks had really taken a toll on me. by the end of the 3rd I had no bounce left and was basically just looking to put him out. the 4th was him staying away and me not having enough mobility to finish him. I'm still limping, and really couldn't walk at all friday night after the fight. I don't train or spar leg kicks, and when he got there friday night him and his team said they would go home unless I let him fight without shin pads. So I took it that way and still wore mine. But paid for it, because all the damage he did was from his shin hitting my leg from the knee to the upper thigh. If you've never taken those without pads.....you don't want to trust me.
I'm gonna have one more kickboxing fight and then switch to boxing I think. Its where I belong. I'll post the video when I get it.
Nice. Was afraid you lost since you hadn't reported back. Guess you just had a hard time limping to the ole keyboard.
Do you have any grappling skills DAWG...???...Isn't it pretty tough to go from competitive kickboxing to competitive boxing...??? ...even if you use your hands more, not being able to use your legs makes it a bit tough doesn't it...???
Good **** man. I've seen the power you've got so I'm not surprised you dropped him multiple times. I'm also happy that you're going to switch to boxing. Can't wait to see the video.:good
Great job, Dawg. I was worried about those freaking leg kicks. And fighting him without him wearing his shin pads was a gutsy thing for you to do. I remember taking a leg kick that had me limping for two days and that was just in sparring WITH shin pads. Sounds like you were able to land some good punches on him. Was he dropping his hands when he kicked, like a lot of low kick guys do? I'm proud of you, man. Looking forward to checking out the video. :good
