I'm getting a sinking feeling about Haye vs Klitschko

First off, I really hope that this fight lives up to it's hype but there are a few things that are giving me second thoughts. Also, I think I read a similar thread this morning but this has been on my mind since last weekend.

Ok, Haye has properly hyped the hell out of this fight and therefore everyone is gonna watch it no matter what. Remember Haye saying that he was gonna retire at like 31? So basically he moves to heavyweight and fights 5 less than stellar fighters and talks his way into a huge unification fight and a HUGE payday. What a way to hustle up a great exit to your business. People seem to forget that Haye is a very smart businessman and if it don't make dollars then it don't make sense. So because of the preceding facts, I can see Haye pulling a Shane Mosley. I think he might just show up, try not to get knocked out and collect his huge check saying that Wlad is such a great champ etc. ect. ect. and retire. Remember all the "bad blood" with him and Harrison so this wouldn't be the first time he pulls a fast one on us.

    Thoughts?

I agree, I think at the time he was first supposed to fight Klitschko in 2 years ago he was ready to get a big payday and prepared to lose, but had second thoughts and held out for 2 more years, knowing he could make quite a bit more having easyish fights, building up his profile, and leading to Klitschko when he was more known and would make much more fighting now with tons more interest than 2 years ago. That 31 years old deadline is also a load of rubbish, he said that to add a sense of urgency to everything. Hes a proper businessman with a plan I think hes planned this for years he seen a gap in the heavyweights and a potential market and jumped on it. He says he wants to save heavyweight boxing, if he genuinely wanted to, he would have a plan to fight wlad, then vitali, then defend for years against any new comers in exciting fights........ aint gonna happen, dont believe his hype, hes a talker.

I think you are forgetting one major thing - Haye loves knocking people out. He will at least try to do so.

No I think Haye believes he can knock him out whether he can or not is another matter.Cant see Haye winning on points I can see him going for it and getting ko'd in the proccess or simply knocking wlad out I still have doubts about hayes stamina too.

It's too bad they didn't put the Fury-Chisora fight as the co-main event. I think that fight is way closer than Wlad-Haye. I'm really suprised their throwing Fury into that fight.
