This idea that the judges are going to steal something from Calzaghe is ridiculous and its a post fight excuse waiting to happen.

Fellas, remember- Bernard is old, slow, not active enough, coming off a win over a blown up Winky, overated as a whole, and a racist bastart to top it all off. There is no way he can contend, the only thing Joe has to do is show up to beat him, and will dominate him. That being said, none of us has to worry about judging.

Guys always get worried about their poster boy fighting in a foriegn country. Don't sweat it.

It all comes out in the wash. No hiding in that ring.

after Cortez' awful display in the Hatton fight its normal that the brits are worried especially against someone as crafty as BHop

I don't think Calzaghe's style will bring out a ref's interference like Hatton. People were debating whether or not Hatton's style would hold water in America for years before Las Vegas fight. Brits shouldn't view Hatton's fight as the way all fights will go because Hatton is a one-of-a-kind clincher, almost creating his own sport out of a mixture of stand up wrestling/boxing/pushing. Not knocking him at all, love to see him fight. But I knew Hatton's style would not work in America and knew that style would be all he had against Mayweather.

There's absolutely NO REASON to assume any corruption will rear its head in this fight.

Hatton's style was not going to work against PBF. He would have been KO'ed in England as well.

If you think Joe C will stop Hopkins, you must also think Joe Mesi will rise to the top and become undisputed champ.

And last I remember, BHOP beat Winky by UD. Who was the last fighter to pull off that trick? In fact, who has looked good against him at all??

I'm not worried about anything, Calzaghe's going to annihilate Hopkins, then hopefully fight 1 or 2 actual meaningful fights at Light Heavy and call it a day.

The fights an after thought, it'd take some extreme fluke for Calzaghe to even drop 3 rounds to Hopkins.:yep

Winky threw 1,000 punches against Ike and dropped him twice (Ike has never been stopped).

And if you had the fight with Taylor a draw, I need to show you how to score a fight.

And in order to stop Hopkins, he will have to actually hit him, which will prove to be very difficult.

Woopie, a big workrate on a shot, overmatched Quartey.

Agreed, but you and I have been on the 'Taylor is ****' train from day 1, nothing special there to beat Taylor.

Not at all, Calzaghe's quite tricky and has very good timing in his straight left and left hook, he also digs well to the body and varies in and out movement with consistent workrate behind a jab.

Calzaghe is not as tricky as BHOP, of that, I can assure you. Also, BHOP is a much better body puncher and inside fighter. And Calzaghe's punches are wide and looping, leaving him open for right hand counters all not.

    cry me a ****ing river

    Hatton has always fought dirty.

PBF fought his fight. People said PBF would run all night. He stood there right infront of Hatton and exchanged with him. Hatton couldnt handle a few elbows, boo ****ing hoo.

PBF fought Hattons rough-house fight and KOed him at his own game.
