Some fighters mainly Al Haymon ones would avoid the rematch like a plague and go for the easy option.

Stevenson is the LtHW World Champion regardless of personal rankings, and deserves to mix it up with Ward and Kov IMO.

 

Stevenson is almost 50 years old and fights once every 3 years. Ward has bigger fish to fry. He needs to rematch Kov firstly to prove he can beat him fairly.

Exactly. Let's just look at the straight monetary value: The rematch with Kovalev is a hot item right now. Both men will likely make more money in a rematch, and even more if Kovalev wins the 2nd, setting up a 3rd bout.

There is no other fight I'm more interested in. I wanted a rematch midway through their bout. These guys are excellent champions who were very evenly matched in the ring. Must see TV in my view, and I have no problem paying for a second fight.

 

I hate this bitchyness, sure he has to fight Krusher next but Stevenson could ruin Wards life with 1 punch.

Stevenson has better hand speed and as much power as Krusher, pity he's a 3-4 round fighter.
Ward doesn't hit that hard, I think he has problem's with Stevenson, more problems than Krusher would have with him actually
