I'm going to call it now: Eubank Vs Smith will be an early fight of the year candidate

The competitiveness, dislike of each other & the fact they're both packing solid chins gives me a feeling this one will be exciting.

I predict Eubank TKO11 but Smith is no slouch and will not lay down for any man, if he had a bit more power the munguia fight may have been different. Smith is technically excellent and has heavy hands I just don't think his power is world level.

Whatever happens I'm quietly confident this one will bea classic British bust up.

I wish the casuals were more into Liam Smith, because it could potentially be a pretty hyped fight here. But neither fighter is really big news. Should be a good watch, but I doubt anyone who isn't British will care a jot.

Im not British and I care. Beefy is tough as nails, but hes undersized against Eubanks. He will hold his own but by mid rounds CEJ will have broke him down and by the 8th or 9th round i see Smith getting beaten up and stopped.

Smithys lack of power to deter Eubanks will be his downfall I think. Maybe stoppage loss for him while up on the cards.

Shalom is a greedy pig putting the fight on PPV

I think it could be a dull affair until Eubank takes him out, similar to the Canelo fight. Hope I am wrong.

I hope so. I want to see the young warhorse have to use the warriors code for victory.

Smith will give it his all but I doubt he can hurt Eubank. Eubank might be forced to fight more than he had to with Liam William's after all the knock downs Eubank slacked off in that fight.

It will be a slugfest, I have an inclination this may be the first a few fights if it's good.

I would love to see Smith win it, but how can he do anything.
He doesn't have the speed or skill advantage that Saunders had over Eubank
He doesn't have the size, skill, power advantage that Groves had.

Eubank advantages: Size, power, maybe speed, most likely chin, judges
Smith advantages: Slight skill advantage, slightly smarter
    Determination about equal.

On paper it looks like Smith needs a miracle and could actually end up taking a lot of brain damage. Stupid money fight against someone who is nearly 2 weightclasses above. And probably didn't get a great deal either, being the B-side.

I have a bit of an irrational dislike for the Smith brothers. Something about their faces.

I used to dislike Eubank but he won me over a bit with his antics against Benn, so I'll be rooting for him. Looking forward to it since there's arse all else to look forward to.

I cant see how Smith wins.

Neither are master boxers. Neither is slick. CJJ is taller, rangier and has faster hands, I cant see Liam playing safe and out boxing Chris at range.

Liam has the more nuanced skill set at mid range, but hes still hitable and CJJ is bigger, stronger and his handspeed advantage means he can get more leverage at this range. I can't see Smith out muscling or out punching CJJ.

Lastly, Smith has good stamina, but he applies a steady and educated, rather than relentless pressure and CJJ has always been capable of a great work rate. I can't see Smith out working CJJ or wearing him down.

Smith has been dedicated & improving along the way who takes his Career very seriously & i'm expecting him to give it his all but Eubank is at a higher level & doesn't get the recognition he deserves even to this day, people just bag on because of him being Sr son,

Even in the Saunders fight Chris did well but all i heard was he got majorly schooled which wasn't he case.
