    4 main belts with him holding 2 - he is majority champion - it is good enough.

    People have referred to him as "the man" for some time, but I like Heavyweight Champ better.

    Anyone disagree?

    the funny thing is u think maskaev is the legit champ. why dont u do a poll and find out what esb thinks :yep

    u can talk about lineage all u want til your blue in the face but wlad is the best because he fights the best and dominates them. 5 top 10 fighters in the last 6.

    maskaev has fought 1 time in 18months and that was against peter ohkello. again, the fighter makes the belt and not the other way around.

    Soon there will be another garbage belt added to the main 4.

    Are we to expect a fighter to unify all to gain Champion status?

    The best thing to ask for is that a fighter has more relevant belts than the other "champs".

    It filters out as much garbage as possible (though some will forever remain).

    Wlad is the only unified champ so yeah, he the Heavyweight Champion at this point, but not undisputed. Not yet anyway.

    It's quite clear. He is one of three heavyweight champs. That fact that he has the IBO and WBO belts too doesn't make him any better.
