I don't get it. I'm pretty conservative myself, but this is the type of conservative that ****s everything over. More political, but what irks me about people who have made a living on real estate has been the association with predatory refinances which put so many people out of their homes Greenspan style. Following the bubble burst have been the parasites who come in and finish the job, going through and collecting all the homes the banks own, and purchasing them to turn around and sell them at a 15-30% profit. This sort of thing is anti democracy, and straight up parasitic to our economy. I ****ing HATE this as a conservative and a vet. I didn't serve the country so people could cheat lower and middle class out of their homes to make some extra dough. These people literally make me angry dude. :fire
Nah, confidence doesn't include bashing your opponents peers, or people who have absolutely nothing to do with the situation at all. Where does this ***** get off talking **** about Crocop? What would you guys say if it was Silva talking **** about Couture and team quest? Saying something along the lines of, "All these aluminum wrapper gold coin medals and between the camp they cant seem to do any better than 1/6 ratio for submissions or gnp stoppages, I'm shaking in my boots, oh dear, not team extreme juicy couture, and who the **** is this couture guy? Getting trained by a punching bag who's as old as the dirt I shovel, what this grecco wrestling ****, did Richard Greco invent it? That must be some gay throwback 80's ****." This content is protected I wouldn't be happy with Silva if he said some **** like that. Basically, it takes a lack of class to appreciate no class at all.
Easy solution: Don't buy a house you can't ****ing afford. Real Estate agents don't have anything to do with mortgages anyway, they are simple salesmen, they have no money to lend, so they aren't the ones lending it. A Real Estate agent just offers advice on which house you should buy or how to sell your house. Buying something at a low cost and selling it is not "anti-democracy" it is "the most basic component of every transaction in human history" My reason's for wanting him elected aren't political anyway, but jesus christ, take a finance course.
You're making a bigger one than is there. Ask a banker what they think of a Real Estate agent and the words "glorified car salesman" comes up a lot. No serious financial decisions are made by the guy showing houses.
Ahh Beebs. Greenspan, Wall Street and the Banks were all in cahoots with one another in the first place to give out predatory loans, and refinancing schemes. They essentially bet on middle and low income families to take out loans against their homes, and not be able to pay them back. To top it off, some of the loans were predatory, meaning the interest on the loans become impossible to pay off after a certain period of time, only this information is buried in fine print. Who are the cleanup men for the banks and wall street? Those parasites who came in to purchase these homes at 1/2 to 2/3'rds the price. What the idiots didn't count on was how much the value of homes would plunge nationwide once the fruit of their labors hit.. Do you understand where real estate fell into place within this gambit? And you would vote one of these parasites into office? I guess they are overall no worse than business as usual, but that isn't reason for people like you and me, people who are conservative minded to not get pissed. This wasn't simple flipping homes on a large scale. This was the whole gambit, the de-regulation, the lack of proof and collateral needed to put down for homes, and then when the bottom of the bucket fell out and most everyone got poor except for those smart enough to see it coming (very few and perhaps those who helped orchestrate the gambit). That people got into homes that they couldn't afford was only part of the problem. There were also those who borrowed against their owned homes and lost everything because of predatory loans. I understand my beef is more with wall street and banks, but the real estate bubble thing had its role in the situation as well.
this is a very good point - which i was going to raise - however i will be putting money on anderson on the night - if anderson loses im happy to see Anderson lose - if he wins i make money - so win - win....but not really:huh
Ah its called capitalism - the people buying those homes at reduced price are not the people who screwed the system - it was the system that screwed itself - it was the primarily the failure of regulation on banks and mortgage brokers, there obviously were alot of other factors, low interest rates, higly leveraged asset backed securities, caused the sub prime problem, (how you blame real estate agents is beyond me, they are purely a vessel to sell the property hence the 'agent' they dont make the market). If you try to tell me you wouldn't buy something 15-30% cheaper then sell it 15-30% higher then im afraid to say you are being dishonest.
WTF is this talk that Sonnen is a despicable guy? He trash talk. Silva on the otherhand is the king of unsportmanlike and despicable behaviour in THE RING! Lets keep it real in this forum, you have the right to pick Silva to beat Sonnen but when it comes to a personality contest, Silva is top of the food chain as an absolute dick.
I think you are both wrong. Its the damn fault of people who lived beyond their ****n means. Who lives in a house too big for two families and drives four SUVs they couldnt afford. Just ask Warren Buffet, he says the same thing. People needs to start blaming themselves for their stupidity.
