My girlfriend is treating me to an after dinner speech for my birthday. I think they allow us to ask 1 question each. I was thinking of asking if he thinks using a defensive strategy would have seen him win the first Duran fight and if he thinks that loss made him a better boxer. I was also curious of his mile times and how close he was to his peak he thinks he was against Hagler.

I could do with some Leonard cramming before tomorrow, does anyone have a link to his OTR interview?

I'll report back on Friday with what's said for anyone who's interested.

I'm still hoping myself to one day meet my childhood boxing idol/icon and personal P.F.P. favorite fighter of all time just to shake his hand, get an autograph and possibly even take a photo opp. Sugar Ray Leonard, a true great!

Nothing wrong with your questions, but Ray Leonard might not like talking about his losses that much.

Can you ask if he'll pop round to mine or failing that, marry my mother?
    She's only 68.

On a more serious note, some of the questions you get at these events are so mind numbing and obvious.
I learned that it's very advantageous to answer an interesting question and if you ask one that they appreciate, they remember you on the way out.

You should see if his Talksport "My Sporting Life" is on the website mate. Was pretty comprehensive.
He's a big fan of Chava too.I've pondered on what fights he regrets not having most.
I'd also like to ask if he thought he could've picked a better opponent than Norris for a swansong and who else was on the list for that fight.
    So many questions,no time whatsoever.
