I decided to buy tickets. I thought '**** it'. I'm going to take my missus. It's her first boxing match and I'm relying on Haye to perform. Apparently the O2 Arena is amazing.

I paid 50 quid plus service charge makes its 55. Tickets go up to £750 or something silly. My mate went to a prince concert and said that anywhere you are is amazing so I'm taking the risk. I'm basically in the same seats my mate was in and I'm thinking if he could see Prince then I should be able to see Haye.

I really dont think Haye is that big enough box office wise to demand such high ticket prices

it should be more like £250 ringside seats

this is not Tyson V Holyfield

this is David Haye who has had only one big show fight in this country - last time out V Enzo Maccarenelli

before then he was fighting in the york hall in front of a couple of hundred people

he is good yes - but not big enough star to expect people to shell out that to see him fight a non title fight against a heavyweight fringe contender

Buy the cheapest tickets and some binoculars from lidl for £10 and hey presto you are virtually ringside.

Haye beat the **** out of Enzo Macc.....................HAHAHAHAHAHA.

The show Haye headlined at webley agaisnt bonin was much bigger than enzo vs braithwaite.

The O2 should be empty then.

He was top of the bill at Wembley Arena in his 11th fight and in any case the York Hall has a capacity of 1200 and I doubt any of his fights there were to anything less than capacity - the ones I went to were packed. Don't let the facts get in the way of some tedious hating though. :verysad

Most of the people at the Haye Maccarinelli fight weren't there to see Enzo (well, not to see him fight anyway - to see him get knocked out! :D) and I reckon Haye will be able to get the place at least 2/3rds full for the Barrett fight.

Going off topic slightly I actually wish Haye would fight in York Hall every time. I was at the Fragomeni fight and it was the best sporting atmosphere I have ever experienced bar non. The roof nearly came off when Haye won!

You don't expect a big crowd then.

How about a bot of sticking your neck on the line and giving us your ticket sale prediction now then?

I do expect a big crowd - you misunderstood me

I think he has overpriced ringside seats

when you can go to a calzaghe fight and get top price tickets for £250 for a standard fight

    Haye is charging £750

I expect the bulk of the arena and the cheaper seats will be packed out

Maybe all the £750 tickets will be bought too

all I said was in relation to other shows tickets prices I think they are overpriced

    I expect a big crowd

that Enzo Macc fight gave Haye alot of exposure in Britain

    The O2 should be packed

I doubt he was charging £750 for ringside tickets before

    this is Haymaker promotions now

so pheraps they trying to claw back as much money as they can from all they invested into their new business
