    Forgive me but aren't amateur "stoppages" somewhat different to that of the pro's? Of course, if Froch was knocked out in the genuine sense, my question is irrelevant,

    It was technical stoppage, that is all i can find. Its irrelevant either way because if Froch and Manfredo had ever fought as a pro in the last 6 years Froch would have by KO anyway. Its almost a different Sport, AM and Pro is too much difference.

    :good That's what I mean. May not even have happened in the pro's. Pretty much totally irrelevant.

    tko in the ams could be head snapped by one clean punch sometimes not even that ignore it
