Getting himself KTFO is embarassing for him, his family and his fans.

I have never been fan of his, and I think most of the posters here are not either...so you got that one wrong.

    sad, but not embarrasing.

no excuses, hatton was beaten by an amazingly skilled fighter, and just couldn't execute any kind of gameplan required to beat PBF. even when he had him on the ropes he couldn't hit him cleanly.

i was very impressed by PBF, and semi-suprised by his power.

Lil Floyd is not the nicest and most likeable person, but he is a superb fighter. He showed that this morning and Hatton was not good enough.

Kudos to Mayweather, Cotto awaits; as for Ricky what else is left? He is rich young and has beaten everyone that matters but the very best in Mayweather, if I was him, I would call it a day.

Wanted Hatton to win but he was so reckless and barely defended any of Floyd's shots.

He just kept plowing forward trying to pressure him but was easily spoiled by Floyd slipping and finding range for fast counters.

Hatton cannot keep relying on his fitness against punches.

Disappointed for Hatton. Really wanted him to win, but you can't help but be impressed by Mayweather.
Didn't think he would get the victory, simply because he wouldn't be able to get close enough for long enough. Floyd was just too good for him.
Still, no shame in losing to the #1 P4P...

Lol; at least he did not quite do a Naseem...

I like the end, when he seemed a little horrified when Cortez jumped in, only to then his best Trevoer Berbick (Vs Tyson) impression.;)

I think most people are not very sad. Most knew PBF was a complete class over Hatton. Rather like comparing first class and economy class on an aeroplane.

Amazing how many people stayed up to watch this. I saw loads of people walking around at 5:45am all looking sad and upset.

We all know who the wa>nker is now. The guys on the radio claimed Hatton had won the war of words etc.

IMO, that is too harsh; I would say the difference between first and business class myself.;)

i never chimed in about the pre fight back and forth.

    it's just hoopla.

what matters is what goes on in that ring.

mayweather was the better man on the night and throughout his long career as well.

    hatton's effort was 110% though.

as a fan u can't ask for much more than that. :good
