I'm having a vision: Yarde beats up and stops Kovalev!

Kova is not so old yet! F me, you think Kova woke up last week and lost ability to the point that Clubber Yarde just runs him over?
The far more likely scenario is that Kov knocks Yarde into next week if they were to meet. It's not like Yarde is some obviously out-sized talent, he's bowling over people who simply can't match him physically. BIG difference between that and being a legit KO artist like Kov.

 

I think we'll stick to reality & bypass your vision all the same..

Theres timing though mate, Kov is past prime and I have a feeling the last fight he wanted to prove something and trained in to the best possible shape he could, would he for Yarde ?? He's no big name Yarde and in a year or two he might be ready to be beat by the likes of Yarde or any hungry fighter Kov...Kov of the first Ward fight and previous to that, Team Yarde wouldn't touch

 

If Yarde fights decent comp for the next 2 years and then takes on a faded SK then maybe, but any time in the next 6 months and Yarde get annihilated

Even a completely shot and faded Kovalev will KO Yarde inside 2 rounds. That guy is hot garbage.

 

Even if Kovalev didn't train for a minute and spent the training camp drinking alcohol all day, he would still KO1 Yarde.
