The fight will never happen, Mayweather wont give a by on random drugs testing and Manny won't agree to it.

    Jesus Christ dude! :patsch

Look i don't want to repeat myself and nobody is taking away credit from Clottey, he's an established Welterweight. Nobody is saying Pac isn't human nor vulnerable. Relax and stop the extremities on how you read quotes. Problem with you is, you see statements as black and white.

Problem with me is, I find it absolutely absurd to suggest that Manny Pacquiao wanted to be hit with those left uppercuts inside.

I don't really understand your argument. Pac fights in range, and so he does get hit from time to time. As do all offensive fighters. That's what I said, that's what I think. What exactly is the problem here?? :huh

I think Pac gave Clottey those uppercuts, hoping to make a better fight of it for the fans. - PHILLA

After reading such absurdity I then come into thread and yet again see, instead of people crediting Clottey for landing good right hand leads and getting the good occasional work done inside, people suggesting Pacquiao allowed for it all to happen. Almost as if he couldn't wait go go home and admire his swolen, cut eye.

If the bout ever comes off, I don't think it is going to be easy for either Mayweather or Pacquiao to win. Although after watching Pacquiao struggle to break Clottey's defense, who was very stationary, it has convinced me even more that Mayweather can pull off the win over Pacquiao.
Obviously Pacquiao isn't going to go about his business against Mayweather as he did against Clottey. But I can't help but feel, put a lot of movement in front of Manny, a world class defense, in addition to very fast countering and Mayweather can win.

  12. nah i'm wit you on that. pac showed how easily he could be countered. and floyd is way more active and accurate than clottey.

Clottey is a very accurate puncher who has a well-schooled lead right, and fundamentally sound left hooks and uppers. His workrate and will to win, or lack thereof, is another issue. Clottey being able to connect on Pac was due to Clottey's solid, crisp punching technique and the fact that Pac isn't exactly that hard to hit. In no way does this imply that PBF would have it "easier" nor does it diminish Pac in any way, shape or form.

Also, I'm not exactly sure that PBF's workrate is as superior to Clottey's as some have suggested. It's better but not by that much. PBF, like Clottey, is a safety-first, defense-oriented fighter but, rather than using a high guard, he uses a shoulder roll as his defense.

If PBF-Pacman turns out like Clottey-Pacman in that Pac ends up throwing 3X as many punches as Floyd and ends up connecting a considerably higher number of shots, the result will be a wide UD for Pac, same as last weekend.

I agree, but to say May is "easy work" for Pac (like ive been hearing some people say after the clottey fight) is just as delusional.
