I'm I the only one who thought the Froch vs Kessler fight was overrated?

    It wasn't a technical masterpiece by any means, but neither were any of the Gatti-Ward classics.

    Neither was Hagler-Hearns, for that matter. Have you even seen that fight? There was no sweet science there, just brutality. :yep

    It's possible to appreciate both. Liking pure boxing displays and liking slugfests are not mutually exclusive.

    I'll watch a Cory Spinks fight, or a Cornelius Lock fight and be entertained by either.

    It took a little while to heat up. at one point it was a sloppy jabfest. I think for me what happend was that I was expecting more. Kessler has really fallen off imo.

    Please do not compare this bull**** to Haglar hearns , these guys went to war for whole 3 rounds throwing power punches that connected, they where both around there prime and both hall of famers. This two bumps where just winging shots and none of them will make the Hall of Fame. You lose!!!

    Quality post Laudrup, this was genuine warfare between two physically strong, enduring warriors. There were glimpses and showings of pure boxing brilliance in between the toe to toe wars.

    I honestly don't know why anyone would watch Hopkins - Jones II over this one?


    Love the TPB avatar btw, one of my favorite series ever. :smoke
