i think at the moment he is a pretty clear #2

maybe that will change after a few more UFCs, but ww isn't all that exciting in ufc atm, imo

Bit unfair to compare the way he beat Alves to the way Story did IMO. Fitch completely and utterly dominates Alves.

    13-1-1.

Hate the guy all you want but there is maybe just 1 guy in UFC history with a record better then his.

    (Hint: He's the Middleweight Champion)

I think the winner of the two Jakes is next for Fitch, dont think he'll get a shot at the Belt again until then

Although, I did forget about Rashad Evans. I think his record is similar.

Don't quote me on this but I think his wins are (I know he has one loss and one draw) 10-1-1?

Boom! 10-1-1 exactly. Even Rashad Evans doesn't have a record as good as that of Jon Fitch.

Cain Velasquez has a perfect record in the UFC as well as JDS, and I did initially forget about them but they don't have the number of fights in the UFC that Fitch has (Let's say 10+, although I think JDS I something like 7? 8?).

Fitch needs to get over himself IMO. Is he number 2 ? Yes but it isnt like hes come close to cleaning out 170 outside of GSP. Fitch didnt beat BJ and you still got Ellenberger, Diaz, Koscheck, Shields, Condit and others at 170.

Exactly. The fights he's had since getting ****ed up by GSP are not a group that put him way clear of everyone else, as most people say he is.
