Fedor managed to clinch and tie Fujita up immediately until he regained his faculty's. Against Hendo he fell flat on his face and was eating unanswered punches And yes Koa they were to the back of the head Dan caught him relatively cleanly twice I counted 4 times Fedor hit Dan on the back of the head This content is protected
Jesus titty ****ing Christ, Fedor's delusional band of ballsuckers and peons are the biggest goddamned crybabies in the world of sports. You're just pissed because your larger-than-life anti-Zuffa hero had his glass shattered in front of a global audience!:rofl:rofl:rofl
As the 3rd one goes in Fedor starts to roll over, so far from getting worse he went from not moving to moving. Reganing some sort of cognitive falcultes. Fights go on with people doing nothing to defend themselves for far longer all the time. Also I was saying about Fujita in reference to saying Herb having to hold him up.
You are ignoring the fact that he went limp from a flash ko fell FACE 1ST to the matt and showed no signs of defending himself, except for rolling over, when Herb stepped in I may add Hendo only stopped punching because Herb stepped in Herb Dean cares more about Fedor than you do
I am not up in arms about the stoppage. The last line is just hillarious dude, way to shame me... I thought it was early because as Herb stepped in Fedor started to show signs of recover, I was not advocating Herb let it go on Mir vs Carwin style, but I think it was too quick.
You're an idiot. I'm calling it like it is. As a matter of fact , i was the one who predicted Antonio to beat Fedor before the fight even happened , and people were mocking me at the time. Here http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=297715 Even Stoo , said that it was a "good call". (i predicted shogun's fight too) You guys don't ****ing get it though.... This isn't about Zuffa or Dana..(even though he's a ****...a great businessman but a ****) , this is about a bull**** stoppage. And it was a ****ing bull**** stoppage.
Fair enough fella. But there was no way Hendo was letting him off the hook and for me personally if Herb had stepped in early, it was only a punch or two.
Clearly, Fedor was knocked out, if only for a second or so. His body went limp and he slumped to the canvas face-first. If your opponent knocks you out, you have lost the fight. End of story. :hat
This is the key. An uppercut that Henderson landed from behind make Fedor go limp and faceplant. He moves somewhat after that but the ref and already decided to stop it based on that.
It can argue that yea, maybe an early stoppage but to say, "Fedor WOULD'VE turned the tables on Silva in the 3rd round!!" is absolutely absurd. Fedor got his ass kicked in every aspect if the phrase in that fight. Even got embarrassed and made fun of when he attempted that weak ass kneebar/heel hook.
I have yet to hear a valid reason for why the Fedor-Hendo fight should NOT have been stopped at the moment one of the combatants was knocked out, causing him to slump bonelessly face-first to the canvas unconscious and unaware of his surroundings. :bart :hat
I didn't initially have a problem with the stoppage, but on review I've little doubt Fedor could've and likely would've recovered fully.
Would it be fair to Dan Henderson to have him KNOCK FEDOR OUT and that is not enough to get the win right there? :huh :hat
He wasn't out when Dean stepped in, no more than he's been in the past, and no more than many other fighters have been that were allowed to continue.
Oh bull****, he slumped face-first into the canvas with his arms by his sides, making not even the slightest attempt to instinctively protect himself from the fall. Out cold. By any measure you want to use, he was knocked out. When you get knocked out you have lost the fight. He wasn't exhausted from a lot of hard fighting, yet he could only barely stagger to his feet and stay upright after Dean chased Hendo away. Look at the gif. Why was he so unsteady on his feet? Why was his motor control so poor? It had nothing do with exhaustion because he wasn't tired. It was because he had just been knocked out cold. You get knocked out cold, you lose the fight. And for the record, where in the rules does it say that an individual's past fights must be taken into account when deciding a stoppage? Or that any other referee's calls from other fights must be included in the decision? I'll save you the trouble. It doesn't say anything like that. Fedor was cleanly knocked out, and the rules say that when one fighter is knocked unconscious, the fight is stopped immediately and he has lost. :good :hat
