    results.

Im figuring it might be too soon to notice anything but ill tell my story anyways.

I do not exercise at all. Exercise is not a part of my weight loss routine mainly because I started working at this new job (factory) that requires a lot of moving, minor heavy lifting, and just straight up hard work in which I sweat constantly. I work for 8 hours a day and I pretty much work hard and sweat the whole day.
Usually on weekends ill either relax without working to much but sometimes I work on cutting grass in the sun which also burns calories and makes me sweat a lot.

I know for a fact that i am burning calories and I know i am working really hard without the use of machines and protien shakes and what not.

I started this job in March 15th. When I started this job I weighted myself (naked) and I was a even 90.5KG (200 LBS). Right now its the 16th of April and I weigh 85.0 KG even(187 LBS)

So in all, scince exactly 1 month and 1 day scince I started this job, I have lost 5 KG, which is about 13 pounds.

Is 13 pounds a month too much ? This pretty much averages out to 3 pounds a week.... Is this going to fast or is this a good pace? Am I losing fat? Or is this just water that I am losing? My goal is to lose fat, not water.

I stopped all the BK and all the fatty foods, right now my diet pretty much consists of good meats like sausage, hamburger with no bun/**** on it, ham and fruits(mostly pears). I am eating more healthy now for sure. I stopped all the pizzas, pastas, potatoes and all those fatty disgusting foods, which I cant even bare looking at anymore. I think my only problem as far as food goes is that im not really drinking water, and Im mostly drinking Iced Tea, Lemonade and Gatorade to rehydrate myself.

I know I am heading in the right direction in terms of eating but is there somthing wrong? My stomach looks a LITTLE thinner imo when I look at the mirror but Id figure 13 pounds would be more than that.... or is that just a normal process or am I expecting too much out of 13 pounds??

I'd avoid soft drinks if I was you as they are high in sugars.
Stay hydrated with water, and make sure you drink enough to replace the water that has been sweated out. Make sure that your **** is crystal :hat
And the fat that you've been losing will have been lost from all over your body so a little bit of your belly would be understandable.

When I first started my warehouse job I lost roughly 8 pounds (which I purposely increased my calorie intake to regain) and many of my co-workers talked about losing up to 20lbs. It's normal for this to happen to people at a typical warehouse where they are forced to move non-stop for 8+ hours at a moderate to very high pace. Eventually your body will adapt as long as you are eating right and resting properly. It doesn't really get "easier", but eventually you will naturally get better and faster at it. After this type of adaption happens - you can start to add in some workouts throughout the week. It will still have to be light because of the demands that work places on you and you'll have to swallow your pride and start slow. IE if you were doing 50 pushups and 25 pullups at your peak, then you may start off with 25 and 10 and work up to where you were originally at and THEN progress. You are also better off focusing on more intense forms of cardio (example: sprints, bag-work). You will also need to increase your water intake, especially with summer coming. My advice for what has worked for me.

Well its not really soft drinks. I make my own Iced Tea. I only put a little of the power in a gallon container. The container is mostly water based anyways.

As far as hydrated goes, I usually drink a whole gallon of liquid a day. I think thats enough.

And that last statement you made, it makes sense. But do you think im losing fat ? Or am i losing water?

Yea... My job is kinda like a warehouse job environment. I move constantly and sweat a whole LOT.

As far as resting properly...I get out of work at around 12:30 at night, and ill go to bed at 2:00 AM..... I usually wake up at around 12:00.....

I usually get like 10 hours of sleep lol.
    Thanks for the post buddy.

As far as actual workouts go, I think im gonna wait another month before I start doing some actual exercise. Im still gonna try to adapt to this work style, especially with the hot weather / summer coming, im gonna be sweating like a pig lol.
    :thumbsup

Just wondering, why do you keep on going on about how much you sweat? It's an indicator of nothing...

Its a indicator of hard work.

If you want to make yourself feel like you are doing something until then - look up grease the groove by pavel tsatsouline. You basically choose ONE exercise that you like or want to get better at and you perform it every day @ 50% of your maximum at random times throughout the day (whenever you have a chance). Take sundays off to rest. Make sure You never go near your max or to failure though. If your max is an odd number do 50% and round down to be safe.

It's an indicator of how hot your body is getting, some of this will indeed be caused by hard work but there's other factors too so I'd not concentrate too much on how much you're sweating other than to make sure you're adequately hydrated.

The easiest way to make sure you're hydrated correctly is through the colour of your ****. If it's clear of a light shade of yellow you're good. The stronger the colour is, the stronger the concentration of urea in your **** indicating indicating inadequate liquid consumption.

There's no way of us being able to tell if it's fat or water weight you've been losing, only you or someone who knows you well will be able to estimate that.
You also say you've cut out the fatty foods(and avoiding fast food chains is a real positive), however the meats you've chosen to eat in sausage and hamburger meat are still full of a lot of fat. While it's fine to eat these foods ever so often you'd be better eating chicken, turkey, roast pork(rather than in sausage form) and roast beef(rather than in hamburger form).

I'd also advise taking water rather than sports drinks to stay hydrated, however you may want to add a small amount of salt to some of the water you drink, as with the amount you apparently sweat you probably need to replace electrolytes quite often.

There is nothing wrong with pasta or potatoes either, they're a great source of energy. The problem comes when you eat too much of these foods and you don't burn off the calories. But don't fall into the trap of not eating enough carbs as a lot of people do, carbs are essential to function.
Hope this helps to some degree.

You need to try and make sure its water, its the best thing.
And you'll be losing both, just make sure you're hydrated because when you're hydrated you can burn fat easier.
Try drinking a pint of water in the morning when you wake up, that will help.
