Manny is a legit beast at LWW. JMM was getting bulled at LW. Why put a small LW in with the most devastating LWW in the world? JMM was incredible at LW but that was because he was too small there but still ended up KOing its two biggest stars.

JMM FM is widely accepted a BS fight. But JMM MP is just as BS. The difference in size is just too much to make a fair fight

Marquez is a stylistic nightmare for Pac.

Both men have their own agenda of accomplishment.

Marquez for being a top notch technical skilled fighter and Pacquiao for defying any odds.

If JMM was 4 years younger he could beat Pac. The problem simply is that Pac is at his absolute peak both in terms of skill and physically as well.
JMM I think is the most skilled he has ever been, but physically he is not in his prime, he has slowed down in the last few years. Not by much, but such things make a difference. He has made up for it by becoming even better offensively and actually becoming stronger as he has moved up in weight.

Pacquaio is just a devastator right now at this weight. He is the complete package, and Offensively he is second to none. There is no fighter in the world that is as fluid and fast as him, speed kills and he is a solid puncher to boot.

Hard to say Pac is no longer technically skilled. He beat future hall of famers with just his left. Now with his right, he even KD a true 140 pounder with it in a division he just started fighting. Amazing beast.

after yesterdays weigh-in, i'm beginning to agree it should be at 135.

fully fed, clothed n soaking wet, pac weighed only 142 against oscar.
yesterday he was only 138. didn't looked like he was dieting at all.

so pac, i think is reallly just a 135er and a small 140lber. it is only his freakish power that really allows him to pretend otherwise.

i'm really hoping just maybe he pull a true henry armstrong and try to win titles in all three weights. go down to 135 and try to grab jmms belts and lineal title, then fight cotto or mosley just for the heck of it. because as small as he is, i think he has a good chance to pull it off.

He walked into the ring at 148. I think Pac is a true 140 lb fighter and is better at that weight than at LW. JMM, on the other hand, is probably at his best as a FW. At the age he was when he finally moved up, he probably didn't HAVE to move up in weight, he just did it to chase Manny. If his frame demanded that he move up in weight, he would have done so before his mid 30's. I don't think Manny could make 130 again if his life depended on it. I just think Pac is the bigger man, and the higher the weight they fight at, the worse for JMM.

And by the way, Mexicans shouldnt feel so bad that some asian guy got their Mexican warriors beaten inside the ring. As far as I'm concerned, the Philippines and Mexico are like distant but legitimate relatives with a similar bloodline. We have been called the "Mexicans of asia". The title belt still belongs to the family.

It is an honor for us to be able to fight against the Mexicans inside the ring, because you know they'll always "bring it" whenever you fight them. No free rounds, no cute stuff, no BS. No win ever feels cheap.

I'm Mexican & never had nothing but love for Pac, Even if he beats whoever..
Might have rooted against him a couple of times, But didn't care either way when he won.
    (Except against Morales)

I never even knew dude was not Mexican by the way he fights...lol
He is a warrior in the end he provides great fight's, all that matters to me.

good on you, race should not determine wether you like a fighter or not. i can safely say that if pac was mexican black white or whatever i would still be a fan because all his fights are exciting and he is humble and fights for his people.

Welcome to *******ia, Bro MJ.:good

All the talk about 'Asian", 'Filipino', 'Mexican', 'Jew', etc., etc., ad nauseam, is moot and pointless. The Pacster is all class, a decent human being, a fighter and a warrior of the most noble and intrepid kind, one that can carry the warrior's sport with chivalrous honor--a boxing demigod who comes in mortal form once in a century. Manny Pac: citizen of the world... :happy
