I'm more hyped for Ward Kov than I was more for May PAC

    Absolutely!
This is why I love boxing. These fights make the sport.

Not even close. Mayweather-Pacquaio had almost no interest to me personally, it took way to long to make and both guys were well out of their primes. It would be like Kovalev and Ward dance around and avoid each other and wait another 4-5 years to fight instead of now.

Kovalev-Ward has both guys at or close to their peaks and its a pretty even fight where Mayweather was a very clear favorite against Pacquaio. The ppv price difference is another small factor in tonights favor as well.

Pac/Floyd became a sideshow. The fight imho meant nothing other than money. Floyd beat an injured past prime pac. If pac had kod floyd so what? Its a nearly 40 year old floyd no matter how good he looked in recent years fighting C level fighters. This fight is two guys near the peak of their ability in a fight that is relevant to the landscape of the sport. Unfortunately it like wont crack 250,000 buys. Itd be nice if BSPN had done some promotion of the fight this past week.

Yes, sadly Mayweather-Pacquiao was too little, too late. This should be good.
