Im more intrigued and excited about DGarcia vs lucas M fight than the Money vs Canelo

    fight, I see Floyd pot-shotting and on his bike for 12 dull rds as Canelo swings for the fences and catches air all night long. Money gets the lead and runs the rest of the way with a tired, red faced Canelo out of gas huffing and puffing down the stretch.

    The prelim however, has me very excited, Im rooting for Danny, but this fight is a toss up either fighter can get caught in an exchange, and either can throw a wild shot when hurt, as the other moves in for the kill and end it. Danny is careful at the beginning but likes to time shots and so does Lucas, someone can get caught with a haye-maker at any point in this match. Danny is stronger Physically and Lucas has the greater 1 punch power capability. To be honest this is the fight that has me excited.

    Really? I think Dannys gonna get what Lamont got, Alvarez has more of a chance

    Danny is lucky that his hook puts people to sleep. His wide punches are amateurish. Canelo and floyd may not have the fireworks of Lucas and Danny but the holistic well rounded skill set is much higher for both of them than for Garcia or matthysse, whose skill sets just don't seem completely elite.

    Danny has a better chin and is much stronger than Lamont, however anythings possible, how will Lucas M react if he get tapped on the chin with a left hook? and how will Danny react to a solid Lucas M shot?

    I dont think Danny is going in there looking for a shootout or letting LM just walk through him, at the bell Garcia will be cautious and looking to time something. Then again anythings possible this fight is tough to call. Remember Gracia is the bigger man and he can punch as well? its just too close to call for me.

    Rocky Marciano looked crude and slow and just kept winning his right hand wasn't textbook and yet its one of the great weapons of all time. I dont get these skill set warriors, what about intangibles? boxing is very much a mental game, greater technique doesn't always win the day.

    Canelo is elite? the jury for many is still out on that one

    You are right. Canelo just looks more well rounded than Danny. Intangibles count but I still don't think he deserved to be ahead against morales in their first fight going into the 11th - he can definitely be exploited with those telegraphed hooks if someone can take his shots.

    I have a feeling that Garcia will run like Hell, doubt if he will stand and fight Matthysse..............

    too many people are enamored of the quick KO and are building Lucas M as some sort of monster he looks like a little guy to me and well I saw him vs Judah and in his other loss and he does not look as tough or as strong physically as Maidana I think he is being overrated but we shall see

    To be honest so am I... it's a great fight with two fighters with superb left hooks. Wonder what the odds are going to be for a double KO or knockdown... haha

    Mayweather / Matthysse = International $$
    Mayweathyer / Garcia = HUGE US spectacle


    I don't think anyone's gonna be losing from the end result of this fight.

    Yep, a big ****ing carrot dangling there for Garcia and Matthysse to perform well. Imagine going into that fight thinking if I win this in style I could well be in a fight that will set me up for life.

    Great stuff for motivation that ****.

    I'm willing to bet that if Garcia wins, Khan would try to invoke a rematch to stall the Floyd fight so he can try to steal it for himself. As much as I see Danny / Lucas as a great fight, Garcia winning and Khan trying to be like, "OMG he's gonna get Floyd, I want a rematch," completely turns me off.
