I'm more worried about JT and Andre Dirrell than Margarito's eye.

    However, nobody talks about this. These two guys are fighting on Dec 30th and they might be one punch away from a serious injury (especially JT). I hope they both come out healthy on their respective fights.

    Taylor i understand but i dont think Dirrell is in trouble. He was cleared by Dr Shaw Hii after all.

    Taylor has received some vicious knockouts and yet the boxing community hasnt made big deal about it like they did with Margarito's eye which is not a life threatening injury.

    The tragic tale of Jermain Taylor... guy was ahead on Froch, had Pavlik beat for a decent period in their first fight...and somehow just couldn't survive. Imagine if JT just lasted combined 5-6 more rounds, we might be talking about him as an ATG.

    And he did all this despite being very flawed technically. Terrible defense. Way too tight in fights (and that led to his terrible stamina). No lateral movement. And he was still on the verge of doing great things.

    And i wouldn't worry about Dirrell, the well-renowed Dr. Shaw Hi cleared him to fight.

    JT was actually very talented. He just was a lazy fighter who did just enough to win. I think the Hopkins fights really contributed to his manhood being taken. He was a beast up until then who would crush fighters. After those fights, he seemed to question his abilities if he couldn't take a guy out.
