I'm sure what's driving a lot of posters to make fun of Loma's loss are the Eurotard fanboys. Or posters that are white rooting for someone their same skin colour.

I like seeing winners. Loma is a born winner. He's an inspiration. After his only amateur loss, he burst into tears, hanging his head his shame. The young kid vowed to never let that happen again, avenging the loss twice.

But I didn't see that winning mentality until the 11th. Yes, his body was as red as Marilyn Monroe's lips, but look at how Bernard Hopkins got off the canvas aged 46 versus Jean Pascal to take that fight to a draw. Similarly, Hopkins was being fouled in that fight. A blow to the back of his head led to him being knocked down. The crowd was also in favour of the opponent.

I didn't see that urgency until late on when Lomachenko finally realised that he had to fight in the pocket and use his quickness in the exchanges.

He needs to change his team, ditch his father as his trainer. The tactics used in the fight were diabolical. Starting slow vs a slow starter; not throwing uppercuts; not countering - all because he was told by his team to clinch whenever Siri got close. And in the first round when Siri made Loma lead, Loma had no clue what to do, throwing a handful of punches throughout the entire round.

It is not that he was not capable of doing what was required to win but he was advised poorly.

Whoever doesn't fall into the crybaby nuthugger group and wanted him to make history that night and win, post in this thread.

It doesn't matter what Loma didn't do in his 2nd pro fight as he'll learn
thru experience. What is important is that a phenom got screwed by
racist BS politics and lost the fight before the bell rang. Anybody who
knows boxing knows Loma won the fight handily. Arum the ki.ke hates
ALL eastern euro fighters and it always baffled me why Vasyl didn't sign
with K2 where he would've gotten fair treatment, and not screwed by
a filthy cu.nt ki.ke that had it planned all along to ruin his chances at
superstardom while lining his jew ki.ke pockets.

"The refeering was absolutely horrible. I have never seen so many low blows that a fighter gets away with. But that being said, that shows how important experience was, because finally when he got his act together, it was no contest."

Arum said he had Lomachenko winning the fight 115-113, and that was even reason to widen the gap by another point for the manner in which Lomachenko won the 12th round.

"Off that performance against a heavier guy, maybe he can be nominated to fight for the title again."

Arum had plans for Lomachenko to fight Gradovich in Moscow in the summer in an unification bout.

Loma got screwed by team Loma! Their inexperience showed from the beginning. They should have adviced against the move from the start but they probably foolishly thought that there was no difference for the AMs and the pros. They should have insistant on a rehydration limit once Salido came in over. They should have known abou the ref who was assigned and protested. They should have p cried bloody murder when Siri started using his nuts for a speed bag. If the ref did nothing he should have knocked his nuts into his stomach. Loma started to slow probably afraid he couldn't go the distance if he was 100% ready that would neve have been an issue. The should have watched more film so thy could see that Salido uses and experience is needed to overcome those tactics. Finally, he should have never fought in Texas, it's the UK or Germany of th USA.

That all being said Siri fought dirty from the jump and took advantage of the rookie mistakes on the other side. I had the fight a draw but Loma was the Bette boxer, Siri was a cagey vet that would lose a rematch if it eve happened

great fkin post. i def. agree with the part about him not being confident on if he had stamina for 12 rounds.

and man salido dips his head down and as he's doin that, he throws that looping marcos maidana right hand and loma got tagged with that. loma could have countered while salido was throwing all that wild **** but he didnt.

HE WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT GETTING HIT WITH BODY SHOTS THAN TO INFLICT DAMAGE ON HIS OPPONENT

Loma and his team were stupid to fight in texas and loma should have punched salido low, but anyway Loma in his second fight lost MD in texas to 20lb heavier veteran who was punching low all night and didn't get no points deducted. Kid fought welterweight and referee at the same time and still had salido holding for dear life in round 12.

It's hilarious how many posters there are on here that are fanboys for any Eastern European fighter, even though they are from nowhere near there. They of course have been crying all day that Loma should have won and blah blah blah. I am not like them though. I thought he lost the fight but I still became a fan of his. He has potential to do great things in his career. He just took on too much too quick and will learn from his mistake

Dwyer must be laughing to the bank sweat falling of his baldy head. He made some cash of the demise of Lomachenko as he predicted in his gay videos.

I agree 100%. I held Team Dirrell to the same standard for not properly preparing Andre to fight the necessary fight to win in Froch's back yard, and I believe Team Lomachenko made critical mistakes that visiting fighters can't afford to make, as well. It's only fair to call it for what it is.

I also think you nailed the conditioning thing. Loma saved up too long because he wasn't 100% comfortable with how to pace himself over 12. He had too much energy left at the end of the fight after waiting too long to turn the tempo up.

That doesn't excuse everything that happened from Salido's end. However, the visiting fighter's team simply has to be aware that the deck will be stacked against them and must adjust accordingly both in the ring and in the lead-up.

It wasn't just Vasyl that got a lot to learn from last night. His team has a lot they can pick up on moving forward, too, and they need to in order to do a better job taking care of their fighter.
