I actually enjoy his fights and would rather watch him fight than Chisora v Pulev or Fury v Klitchko borefest.
I think he should fight Kell Brook because despite him losing lastnight there will still be a big interest in this fight.

No doubt about it. When one fighter is either a KO artist or weak of chin a fight is a thousand times more exciting to watch.

Win or lose he usually does provide entertainment, credit where it's due.

He's had two fight of the year contenders in the Peterson and Maidana fights. Had several thrilling domestic dust ups, like Gomez and Limond. Had the ***** to move up in weight to box Canelo when he'd been sparked at lighter weights.

The guy is a true fighting man, and the lack of respect he gets for entertaining the fans is pathetic. Sure he may be delusional and highly arrogant but those words can describe 90% of boxers in the world.

He's a comedy act bum, he deserves no respect. He's had everything on a plate and still failed miserably.

I agree, absolute disgrace the lack of respect shown to the guy. I honestly think if he was white British called John smith it would be a significantly different story.

No doubt. Khan isn't quite top echelon but look at how Kevin Mitchell gets plaudits even though his failed numerous times.

Certain people defiantly have an anti Asian/Islam agenda with Khan.

I think he just upsets people because he really comes across arrogant and he seriously over estimates his own ability. Banging on for years and years now may and pac ran from him etc he's two or three levels below those guys at least.

He would have a lot more fans if he was just a touch more humble. Like last night first thing he does in the interview is start attacking canelo for not fighting ggg practically! The old saying goes humble in victory but also humble in defeat. Being humble in defeat is the hard part you need to be a genuinely nice person to give a man full credit when you have just been knocked out. Khan didn't have it in him to fully congratulatate canelo.

You could pretty much apply that to almost any boxer. This is the fight business. A sport where a fighter is alone in the ring. Ego, confidence and pride is everything.

Take David Haye. Prior to fighting Klitschko he'd been massively disrespectful in the build-up, quite vulgar and crass and said he would decapitate him in the ring despite facing subpar HW opposition only. Yet the public was still 100% behind him in the run up to the fight. The Haye backlash in the public only began after the toe incident. Before that, the public loved him despite his arrogance.

Prince Naseem - adored by the public despite supreme arrogance and disrespect of opponents.

Khan is arrogant and delusional but so what? Pretty pathetic reason to hate on a fighter given the nature of the sport.

I thought his Donald Trump remarks pre fight were actually quite funny.

No issue with Amir fighting on because his fights usually are entertaining.

Exactly. Khan isn't the first or won't be the last fighter to come across as arrogant or delusional.

I enjoy his fights & would still pay to watch him fight Brook. He still has a future in boxing no doubt about it.

Uzzy Ahmed and Adil Anwar are entertaining to watch too.. but are they good enough to be on TV? the answer is no. Just like Khan isn't good enough to fight the elite..
