Im not as pumped as I should be, this doesnt feel like a BIG FIGHT

    Anyone else just not feeling this? Im trying to tell myself that ghost will be hard competition, and I see all these posters making comparisons to huge upsets....But honestly, I just dont give ghost any chance what so ever. I think cotto is a better fighter than ghost, and floyd is going to check hook his ass all night.
    This seems like a fight that should be free (wont ever happen with floyd, but you know). Maybe I'm just an HBO mark, maybe not, but showtime doesnt really do as good of a job hyping this. Floyd by wide UD.

    Dunno...Help me get pumped!

    The only reason im excited is because Robert is coming to fight, this isnt Ortiz who will break mentally even if Guerrero loses he will fight every round and his chin is legit
    Id rather a fight like this for Floyd than a chess match against someone like Trout right now because Floyd is coming off a long lay off etc

    It's not a big fight, if Floyd is going to fight so infrequently he needs to be in super fights, that's what his talent deserves. This is a rubbish fight. It's been a while since I'e been excited about Floyd's career, I think he's really pissed away the last few years. These sort of fights just harm his legacy and ATG standing imo.

    Imagine Floyd will break his right hand in the first round and have a large cut opened up. Maybe get shanked, Gladiator style, before they send him out to the ring.

    Should hold you over until the fight, at which point you'll be excited just to see him in the ring again.

    I know what you mean but im looking forward to the fight. Guerrero is coming to fight and should make it intersting for awhile but I fully expect Floyd to beat him fairly easily barring he dosent get old overnight as alot are suggesting he will. Who knows this time next year we could be waiting for Floyd-Canelo.

    Is Canelo still coming to watch ringside? If so I am more interested in seeing if the Canelo curse is as real and worse than the EA curse.

    Still, it will be nice to see Mayweather back in action. I think Guererro will be picked apart quite effectivley and after a slow start, Mayweather will begin to turn the screw. It will probably be quite one sided but Mayweather fights generally are.
