I'm not convinced with Gamboa.

No it is not, out all those knockdowns the only one legit was the Garcia's fight, I'm not talking about flash knockdowns, it is about what the ref missed, Lopez was more hurt against Mtagwa (imo) than in his fight against Concepcion, and he never went down vs RM.
He was dizzy but not out like against Mtagwa.

The point is that where JuanMa has looked seriously dazed and out on his feet multiple times, Gamboa really hasn't. He's been caught leaping in or with elbows and recovered instantly.

Although the point is going to be moot if Gamboa's little short ass can't find a way to get inside of JuanMa's straight left, and I'm not really sure he can, consistently.

No man, at the end of the day what I want is a good fight, since the 80's when Napoles, Ramos and Legra retired I had been rooting for my portoricans brothers, some Argentineans and PanameƱos, I had never like the Venezuelan boxing (although some greats has come out of there) now I have my Cubans here and I'm a little excited, nothing wrong with that, and your avatar is my favorite boxer of all time, I met him in 1974 back in Cuba at the Habana Hilton, he is a gentleman, and he kicked my at the time idol a$$, Jorge L. Romero.

Nothing wrong with that, but I'm a fan first. I actually thought Gamboa would've spanked lopez's ass until I actually saw him fight. Gamboa is way more athletic, but lopez is sharper.

And slower too, it is a toss up fight IMO, I'll b rooting for YG but I'll not b surprise if he loses it.

It is indeed a tossup, and yes he is slower but timing counteracts that.

Yes timing, the thing is it takes a few rounds to get it down in most case and I don't think that fight is going to be that long one way or another.

Lopez looked in the best shape of his life vs rafa marquez. Jml was on the verge of getting stopped but then gamboa has not faced a legend like rm. Gamboa looked shitty vs a light hitting pressure fighter. I think despite gamboa being the shorter fighter he will be most effective at long range whilejml at short range. Gamboa dominates first half while lopez the second. gamboas best chance is to use his speed adv and stop jml early. For jml is to use a jab to keep gamboa at bay and stay off the ropes. A clash of heads might be the deciding factor to the outcome. Especially since both are very explosive.

Both are flawed defensively. A fight between them is a KO waiting to happen.

Amen, I don't think it will last the whole 12.
