i'm not excited about the haye-wlad fight i think for the most part it will stink

Been saying this for a while.

People are expecting fireworks.

Very well might stink.

So your not excited. Don't watch it then. Tell your shrink because rather the fight is good or not, its the biggest fight this year that is made. If you can't get excited for that, then what?

 

Get real. Stop telling people what or what not to do when they put forth their opinion.

The TS has a legitimate point. Both of these guys can put forth a terribly stinky, boring style. We have seen it before from both guys with comparable opponents. Haye/Valuev. Haye stayed away, threw very little punches and basically stunk the joint out on a terribly boring fight.

Wlad fought Iggy and Iggy basically did what haye did and moved away, stood out of range most of the fight and tried to survive on a terribly boring fight.

These guys have done this before. haye is not a swarmer and wlad is not a guy to cut the ring off and go for the kill. There is a good chance that this fight will be a chess match and turn into a stinker. People are buying into what haye is saying and not how he actually fights.

IMO there are 2 possible outcomes. A 4-6 rd Ko from wlad where he lands a big shot behind the jab while following haye around the ring or a stinker UD that goes 12 and disappoints everyone.

 

Even though I never liked Haye, I'm glad he awoke the sleeping giant b/c he really pissed Wlad off and Wlad seems to really want to beat the sh** out of Haye. I do hope Wlad knocks David out in dramatic fashion, and I do expect Wlad to throw some HUGE bombs since he's so angry, not to mention it's the only belt left that the Klitschko brothers don't have. To me that's the biggest reason why Wlad will win, is b/c he's doing this for himself and his brother so that they will have all the belts. I'm expecting Wlad to try to take Haye's head off. :good

 

You made some good points, but Wlad hits MUCH harder than anyone Haye has ever faced. He hits harder and faster than Valuev. Considering Haye's chin, I think the powerful jab alone from Wlad will wobble Haye. Ever since the Ibragimov fight, Wlad has knocked out every single opponent. Steward has pressed Wlad much more for the knockout. Plus, have you ever seen Wlad this angry and pissed at an opponent????

 

I'm sorry your not excited, this is the fight I most want to see along with Pac / Floyd

 

It's a good heavyweight fight, top guys involved, and will probably have a spectacular KO involved. Count your blessings and all that.

I don't get how fights could stink to some people, if it's Wladimir-Ibragimov stuff then yes it stinks but usually during fights I'm always expecting something which keeps things interesting.

This fight can't stink unless Haye decides to just move and move without throwing at all and lose by decision. Doubt he will do that of course, there will be explosive moments and boring(to fans like you) ones. Haye will move a lot and when he won't be jumping in with fast shots thing will be boring and Wladimir will do the usual jab, jab, jab as Haye circles around.

 

its so wrong that people are basing hayes style on one fight against a man who was nearly a foot taller than him and 5 stone heavier, added to the fact that haye broke his hand in round 2.

haye has only fought that way once and it was because of exceptional circumstance. haye may be a little cautious early on like v harrison but he will be picking the right time to unload bombs. if vlad comes to fight and not spend 12 rounds jab-grabbing then vlad will get knocked out in this fight within 5 rounds.
