To be clear, I'm happy that Bivol won. I just gotta give Canelo some respect for taking on Bivol. Canelo's chin on otherworldly and he's slippery as an eel. He also never stopped trying to win. Man, I want to get back at the Mexicans for trolling nonstop with KTFO6 and troll them into oblivion. But I feel bad. Bivol undressed Canelo and violated him.
He gave up the last 2 rounds by plodding and not biting down and throwing. If he wanted It that bad he would have thrown 1000 punches until he fainted. The guy is getting paid 8 figures ffs. But I'm just a fan with an opinion.
Definitely running on fumes. It was an opportunity to show If he's a great fighter by bitting down hard and getting the job done, coming out of his comfort zone and over coming adversity and he couldn't do that. Disappointing for his fans. Great for boxing he lost as it mixes up the game now.
This content is protected Yeah I feel bad for Clen too, it feels like Bivol did this to him Edit: Okay.. Its banned.. Its basically Indiana Jones episode from Southpark
Bivol just happen to be an ELITE fighter in his PRIME and he showed it in the ring tonight.. Credit to him for finishing the fight strong by clearly winning the last 3 rounds and not giving the judges an opportunity to score this fight a draw. A lot of times fighters who feel they were robbed gave up the last 2-3 rounds allowing the fight to be closer and giving the judges a way to have controversial scorecards. Take nothing away from both guys but the better guy won tonight. I’m very interested in the rematch and what adjustments Reynoso and Canelo will make. Also I want to see GGG vs Charlo to further unify the 160 division. This was a good thing for boxing if you ask me. Canelo took on a challenge and came up short, which is no different than Oscar or Tito moving up and fighting Hopkins. Bivol is not to be underestimated. Yes he’s fought less than stellar comp lately but this is a guy who made Pascal and Smith look like amateurs years back and both guys went on to have very good performances afterwards showing that he’s a special talent.
Let it be known from here on out... every fighter that has ever lost without fainting from exhaustion... basically quit. Fatigue is all mental and has zero basis in physiology. Lets be honest... All conscious losers are quitters. ESB for the win.
I didn't say that did I? No exactly I didnt. I said if he wants to be great don't give up the last two rounds. Push through adversity and get the win. Just an opinion. I'm sorry your boxing knowledge Is Godly.
