Im not his biggest fan outside the ring , but I would really miss this

floyd has taken 41 tests so far his career.some we knew he would pass and some we did not know if he would past.i think at this point mayweather should fight manny and then retire for good.to many people hate on him and dont deserve to see him box anyways.

 

And some he failed but got a passing grade anyway.

 

He has acheived alot, but by him fighting in an era of so many other great fighters, his big wins are overshadowed by the potentially bigger wins he could've had. I'm not being a hater, but as a boxing fan it upsets me that we never saw him fight prime cotto, prime mosley (i guess margo was a smart decision) and now potentially prime pac. Leonard was in the same situation and stepped up and is rewarded by his current status as a true hall of famer.

I can see why people would dislike him, and that's fair enough. It's the ''he never fought anyone with a pulse, never achieved anything of note'' types that grind my gears. He's currently adding to an impressive resume is the way I look at it.

 

Great way to put FM. I like him but can't disagree with this at all. Good Leonard analogy he too was embraced by people & hated but he fought a prime Hearns & fought Hagler when my boy Hagler ruled the MW division. Yes SRL was a primadonna too but the man toke big risks you can't deny that.

 

This. And if people are seriously that upset about him not fighting Pacman when THEY want him to they should get a new hobby. Disappointments are all around us daily. If you let another man you don't personally know dictate your mood that much you should find something that sparks less emotion in you. I don't think it's healthy.

It is a shame that such a great physical and mental talent tarnished by such an unstable psyche and ego. I really think that the "Money" character he always claims to use for ticket sales is really a mask to cover up his major insecurities. I think he is scared of defeat (physical and professional) and now to assault a woman in any way shows mental weakness.

 

Yet, you dislike Pacquiao because as you have stated in the past, his moustache bothers you and you hate his No Fear shorts with the flames. You've also said you don't like Pac because your sister and her friends over adore him. Never mind all of Pac's achievements.

It kind of puts your "the gold in a pile of ****" analogy into question.
