The problem with this statement is you probably said the same thing before Wilder previous 40 fights. Yet he is 40-0 with 39 KOs. You can say what you want about the caliber competition but the fact of the matter is no one else is blasting though the same caliber of competition like Wilder has.

It's like what Holyfield said, Wilder may not like great in there but the fact of the matter is nobody has been able to beat him despite all of his supposed shortcomings.

So you can't assume Joshua will. The fact is many people have picked many of Wilder previous 40 opponents to beat him yet again he is 40-0 with 39 KOs. That's all that matter at this point. Point being talk is cheap, let's see the fight.

Hearn/Joshua are making excuses. Clearly they aren't anywhere near as confidence as many of their supporters are.

Is this thread based on the interview where Hearn said that they’re now waiting for Wilder to get back to them (contract sent), and that it won’t be a Wembley fight?

If so, then chill. Wilder and his team have the contract. The worst Hearn said was that if they don’t get back within a respectable timeframe then they’ll just make the Povetkin fight.

Sign/send and we can rock n’ roll.

According to Hearn's twitter as of around 6hrs ago, Hearn has sent it and is awaiting.

Many fighters blast through that caliber of fighter, but then they progress.

That is standard is it not? Don't want to over train. And if he now knows they cant fight til Oct what the hell is he even talking about? That's 4 months from now

You don't think that is an attempt to save face?

Joshua's team is being eaten alive online with all the dumb stuff Hearn has said over the last few days. I guess we will find out but based on everything else Hearn has done and said, I have extreme doubts of the sincerity and it'd be odd if you didn't.

I haven't heard of very many camps that are over 8 weeks. A lot of top fighters have 6 week camps.

When they are longer than 8, they are usually cited as overtraining and a very negative thing that hindered them in the fight. Usually a camp longer than 8 weeks comes about because of injury withdrawal or other postponements.

And who exactly has AJ fought again, other than a shot-to-**** Wlad?

8 weeks is plenty of time to prepare physically for a 12 rd fight, these are professional athletes not your local mailman.

Come on now, you know Joshua’s caliber of opponents is better.

Hearn wants 12 weeks, because AJ needs four weeks to stop crapping his pants after the fight is signed. :sisi1

Wilder to reject the contract, again. Complain, whine about something in the fine print, claim AJ is scared and he wants $50 million, fart in the wind. AJ vs Povetkin is on, just hasnt been announced yet.
