I'm not Scared of Marquez!!!...Pacquiao

Whoever it is I don't think pac will be fighting against Juan diaz because he looks awesome.

 

The fight between marquez and pac was a draw last time they fought was it a controversial draw because from what i understand pac knocked him down three times in the opening round. What I want to know were the flash knockdowns or really concussive knockdowns Cheers!

 

Cheers but the only fight I saw of pac was agianst barrera apart from that i have just heard how good he his.

 

nah! pac haters will be quick to think,say shout pacman is ducking JMM if he fights DIAZ.. on the other hand if he fights DIAZ some pac haters will now claim, WHY FIGHT AN OLD WASHED UP BOXER like Mab and Morales, why can't PACMAN fight somebody who is IN HIS PRIME like the DAVID Diaz..

-If PACMAN fought JMM three years ago, JMM would have schooled him
-Boring fight, nothing happened
-PACMAN should fight somebody in his prime..
-we were robbed

most Pac fans wants the JMM fight. unfortunately, it has come to a point where
Promoter and fighter thinks of their financial interest first. i think it will still happen(JMM-PAC), but only when easy money fights are exhausted. i dont think the hunger for fame is still there. And fighters have this stupid mentality of only thinking about their legacy when they feel their careers are at its final stages.

 

spot-on. and i don't blame any fighter for wanting financial security than his own legacy. marquez also did this move before when he refused a rematch with pacquiao because he probably knows that fighting pacquiao could shorten his boxing career just like what happened to morales.

 

Been a fan of pac for a while now but all the actions up to this time point to him not being the same fighter he was 2 years ago. Pac may not be scared of JMM but his definitely a fighter who's lost his hunger. Pac doesn't wanna put in the gym time for a guy like JMM anymore, he wants to train for a month and get paid. His performances after the second MOrales fight have been crap, his come in heavy and lethargic, allot of the psycho pac fans think pac were taking it easy on his opponents but its pretty damn clear he doesn't wanna be there anymore, his fire is gone and if not for the money he gets i think he would have already retired and become a singer or president or some other ****. JMM ducked Pac 3 years ago and now Pac is ducking JMM now.

 

He should not be scared of a man he almost knocked out in rnd 1

 

I appreciate the honesty of some Pac fans here. Im not ready to conclude yet that he has lost his desire to fight or that he is ducking Marquez, but you make a good arguement.

I watched the Barrera vs Pac fight the other day and I agree that something was different in his affect. Its as if he is going throught he motions but doesnt yet have the same presence in the ring as he once did.

This could just be that he isnt getting up for fights that he knows wont challenge him though. Perhaps against an opponent like Guzman or JMM he is different.

Or, you could be right, and he could be done with boxing except to collect a few last sweet checks.

 

BOTTOM LINE is DON'T CRY LIKE A BABY IF YOUR JMM is NOT choosen as the next opponent! Wait for your TURN. Mabye it your turn after PACMAN fights JMM.

The guy is moving up in weight and fighting a top5 guy at the weight. Its not the fight everyone wants to see but these other guys bring so little money to the table that he basically gets payed depending on how low a cut his opponent is willing to take.

I have said, since the beggining of the thread, that a fight with EITHER JMM, Juan Diaz, or Guzman would be more legitimate than David Diaz.
