I'm now convinced that prime Joe Louis may have stopped AJ

Strange to say ,the way A J moved a 6'4" 231lbs Parker around gives me a small window of doubt.

A J is better than Bruno imo,he can come back from a kd and win, Frank never showed that ability.
At the mo. LL bets AJ and possibly he always would, time will tell us.

Louis was not a plodder .. watch the M Baer fight .. he could move very well when he choose and he tended to excel against big men because he used his movement ..

George Gardner would finish the lot of them.

Are they talking about late 30's Lightheavy Champion John Henry Lewis,(who was going blind when he fought the Brown Bomber), going in against AJ?

As of now I would put my mortgage on Lewis beating Joshua. I honestly believe those who rate Joshua like a god or ATG are blinded or are new to boxing.

Yes the man is a physical specimen but he is by far the finished article as a fighter. Judge him when his career is over.

He didn't have great feet and would find it difficult to get in punching range, Joshua would probably knock him out.

How many times do we have to go over this?

He had excellent footwork when he chose to use it, he just generally didn't need to.

    Until you agree I'm right.

I'll repeat it again, Louis didn't have the footwork to close the gap in time before Joshua finds a right hand.

If you repeat a falsehood 100 times, it doesn't make it the truth.

It just makes it a falsehood repeated many times.

There is ample film evidence of Louis's footwork.

If he even demonstrated it in one fight, then he had that capability period!

No I'm just talking complete sense, a 200lb chinny HW isn't going to beat Anthony Joshua. Joshua would flatten him, end of discussion!

The last time we went over this you seemed unable or unwilling to explain what was so impressive about Louis’ footwork in any of his fights.
