    At least Peter EARNED the belt. Sorry, but the whole Champion Emeritus Bullshitus is just that... BULL-****. Walk away from the sport for 4 years and you should come back ranked 20 something. Prove yourself and climb the rankings... THEN you get a title shot. This is just another example of boxing being the most corrupt sport on the planet.

    Go ahead Klit-ites... attack away. I know... what a "hater" I am, right? Stop and think about it a minute though and TRY and be somewhat fair. If Peter left the sport today as Champion due to an injury, then returned in a few years and go an automatic title shot at Wladamir, you same people would be screaming how he had "no right" etc.

    Slightly off topic but i thought Vitali had this sewn up before a punch was thrown but it those most recent pics on the main page he looks really really old !

    Starting to lean toward Peter now

    Try and look in the mirror and answer the statement. You can't tell me you wouldn't be calling "bull****" if the shoe was on the other foot... even if that foot is a bit pudgier.

    I really don't care and I have answered your initial question already.

    The pressure is on Peter. He has everything to lose. His WBC belt, and his career. If Peter loses this fight his career will be in shambles. Vitali has nothing to lose in this fight other than his 'dream'. If Vitali loses he just goes back to politics.

    This reminds me of the Great White Hype when they ranked Terry Conklin so he could fight for the title. It is basically the same thing they are doing for VitKlit.

    Peter can barely stay in shape for 6 months between a fight much less 4 years. My avatar is just for fun this is the internet I would not take it too seriously.........

    Vitali has everything to lose also. He will have been considered a never been, and I love Vitali to death. Americans won't respect him. Peter has a lot to lose also, but he is still young, and can win the title with this lot of heavies if he were to lose again.

    Peter has been in shape. You can't predict anything about Peter, and 4 years anyway lol...I haven't seen Peter out of shape yet where it affected him in a fight.

    Ohhhhhh.... I see. Of course. If Vitaly loses, he was suppoed to, right? I mean it's not like he's a huge favorite or anything. And it's not like he's fighting "a fat slob with no skills", right? :lol:

    Something tells me that if Vitaly loses, all of the sudden Samuel Peter will be a "great, young, powerful champion" and will rid himself of the "fat slob/bum with no boxing skills".

    McCline, Peter didn't really look good enough there and you saw what happened. Same thing in his first fight with Toney and in the rematch he proved what he could do when he's in great shape.

    Even if Peter wins, the same people that pick him to lose will come and say he was supposed to win and it means nothing. If Vitali wins expect some praises here and there with a lot of excuses to make the win look bad too.
