If Hopkins loses it will be much like the Taylor fights - because he waited too long to get going.

I'm 99% positive Bernard will end the fight looking like the superior fighter, but only 50/50 if the cards will reflect that.

 

it doesnt matter, cause Winky can walk him down with the high gaurd and pump the jab when he gets in range. Hops is going to try to pick his shots too much . . . he'll be too inactive to outpoint Winky with his jab.

 

Yes it does matter, because Winky couldn't pivot properly even if his life depended on it, and Nard will attack from angles the whole time.

He'll spend the night on his back foot trying to reset his feet but Nard'll keep him offbalance.

Easy stylistical matchup for Hard Nard.

 

I dont think Hops is fast enough, besides unless he hits him in the back of the head . . he'll have no target to hit.

But we shall see soon enough. . . I aint paying to see this tortoise race live though.

 

Bernard has faster feet and hands than Taylor and Taylor had no problem hitting Wright in the middle of the ring.

 

Taylor was able to punch thru his guard at times, Hops will not throw enough heavy punches to get thru the guard enough to outpoint Winks jab IMO. . . like I said we shall see. care tomake an avatar bet?

 

Winky had a war with Sam Soliman, no way he can put Bernard away.

 

Nobody is going to stop anybody in this fight, but Wright will throw many more punches than Bhop and should win a UD

I've thought this myself and read it in different ways the past few weeks, but you phrased this beautifully. Picking the old man over Tarver was a gift, especially with Milk Dud dropping all that weight. If I put anything on Hops for tomorrow, it'll be small, even though I think he gets the nod. I'll be damned if he makes me bite my nails for the first five rounds.

I'm glad you bet "dollars" it won't be a draw. What kinda odds did you get and how much did you bet? Maybe if you bet a thousand dollars too you can win about $47.50.

If I had to pick anyone to win by stoppage is would be 'Nard. I don't even think it is outside the realm of possibility. B-Hop is such a well schooled counterpuncher. I could see Winky winning the fight if he stayed in his freakishly inpenatrable guard and just shot jabs all night with the occasional right hand to keep Hopkins honest. If he tries to fight against B-Hop like he did against Taylor, I could see him getting laid out.
