so a post about Fury being a complete messer has now been hijacked into a Fury v AJ debate.

I do not like either of them but this has nothing to do with AJ

Why can't furry femboys, sorry I mean Fury fanboys, just put their allegiance aside for a moment and admit the truth.

Good more people start to understand what a fraud Fury is.
The guy is a scumbag, and his fall will be big, and will happen very soon.
He is the same as Conor.
Joshua will smash him big time !!!

In all honesty, Fury's 2 best wins, Wlad and Wilder 2, were terrible fights to watch. The Wlad fight was beyond boring and the Wilder fight was a horrific display of headlock after headlock. All initiated by Fury.

How was Wilder 2 terrible to watch. He was leaning on Wilder a lot but that was to wear him down. He beat Wilders ass. It was entertaining.

Wlad fight was boring bur he outboxed Wlad comfortably. In terms of pure boxing feats it was VERY impressive.

Fury was deducted a point for excessive holding. Haney was crucified on this site and called boring for holding after getting tagged with a good shot in the 10th. Up until that, Haney fought a damn near perfect fight. Now, you're trying to tell me the Wilder 2 fight was a good display of skill and what Fury was doing wasn't holding, but wearing his opponent down? C'mon man, stop with the fanboy nonsense!

He was holding because he was hurt badly and he did it against a past it Linares. Fury did it to wear Wilder down. Fury leaned on his and was beating him up on the inside regardless.

So you condone excessive holding as a strategy? Fury held way too much. He should have been deducted a point by the 3rd. Again, Haney haters said he should have been deducted a point for his holding. Thay was just 3 rounds. I believe I'm the only fan that believes Fury should have been disqualified for his blatant headlocking. The thing I don't understand is, why Fury fought that way? He could easily outbox Wilder just using his jab.

I dont know how you compare Haney and fury, haney was holding every chance he could after he was rocked, fury was just boxing. I had no problem with what Haney was doing he was fighting for his life but im not seeing the comparison with fury who was doing the typical clinching boxers always do.

Are you serious right now ? LOL. Yes it was a damn strategy. He leaned his 273 pounds. 6'7½ frame on Wilder to sap his energy which means the odds that he would throw a powerful knockout blow would go down more and more as the rounds went by and it also meant he would be ready to go at some point. He was also beating Wilders ass on the inside in addition to that. He did not want to outbox Wilder because of the fact that he DID outbox Wilder in the first fight and got robbed. He wanted to stop Wilder and he did.

Haney was holding on for dear life in that fight after clearly getting hurt.

Sorry but, saying Fury V Wilder 2 was boring is the very height of chatting shite and talking complete and utter bollocks.

Watching Fury smash 'The Alabama Windmill' from pillar to post was one of the most satisfying things I've seen in a boxing ring in the last 10 years, only rivalled by Froch's destruction of Groves (Im a big Froch fan).

I'm bitterly disappointed the undisputed fight isn't happening but, the Trilogy fight.... Meh, whatever. Wilder being coached by ass rimmer extraordinaire, Scuba Scott just convinced me even more that Fury beats the bejesus out of Wilder even worse next time. It would make me grin from ear to ear but, I've already seen it.

If a fighter contracts covid it isn't up to them on whether or not they get to fight. How you whittling sticks in your yard compares to participating in a sanctioned event I have no idea.

No, I didn't say Wilder 2 was boring. I said it was a headlocking clinic. The Wlad fight was boring. As far as satisfying fights goes. Broner getting whooped by Madiana. I can see how you can take pleasure in Wilder getting beat. Especially if your a Fury fan, but be honest. Fury was headlocking excessively. Not that it would have made a difference in the outcome. Still not right or clean.

The man got a point deducted for excessive holding. Not only that headlocking. No critisim, yet some people said Haney should have been disqualified for his holding? Explain that to me. Also, Fury's stategy was to foul his way to a victory? Whacking them nuts ala Ward would have been faster. Nut punches sap a guys energy too.

Fury had points deducted for excessive holding. Rewatch the fight. Not saying Fury didn't put it on Wilder, but he did hold and grab Wilder a lot.
