Once again im putting myself on the line, ready for the constant stream of abuse with my latest prediction. No doubt if I fail many that werent brave enough to make predictions will come on afterwards, to proclaim they had knew all along, but I expect that on here now. So let it begin.

Dzinziruk is an excellent fighter though often tends to fight to the level of his opponents. It is an incredibly tough fight that Martinez deserves credit for taking.
Thing is American fans are so insulated to the world of boxing and dont think a fighter is good if they dont fight in America or arent recognised to them. Consider Martinez was barely known to America before he looked unlucky to get a draw with Cintron. America would have said Martinez is a nobody, but because he has exposed some hype jobs in Cintron, Williams and Pavlik, he gets credit when they were fighters that hadnt really been stepped up and exposed already. Martinez isnt a hype job but has exposed a few. In Britain Martinezs talent had been seen years before when he got off the floor to beat R Williams twice and A Stone.
When I note America are insulated to worldwide boxing they are also given false beliefs, a good example is often The Ring magazine ratings, they had Y Foreman above Dzinziruk for beating Santos, a fighter Dzinziruk had beaten years previously.

In Dzinziruk, Martinez will be facing a tough fighter who also isnt a hype job and is adaptable.
Its a very tough fight for me to call, but if I had to pick a winner I would go with Dzinziruk.

    Dzinziruk

I think he has the right style, but does he have the ability? the speed? the power? the grit? I don't think so.

Dzinziruk is definitely underrated because people dont really know him, im going with martinez, he moves better has more tools, faced better opposition, reach etc. Martinuz ud in a technical fight 116-112.

Hey Bailey I'm bookmarking this thread
You have a history from making good predictions but i believe that Martinez will win in a close fight.

There's one simple answer as to why Sergio wins this, and that's his versatility.

Maybe but I see Martinez edging like 8-4 maybe 7-5 at worst in a technical fight where Martinez does a bit more and uses his size to gain advantage

    I'm in agreement.

I think Dzin will win a decision here. Its hard for me to pick a winner though, as I'm fans of both.

If you havent seen Dzinziruk you can watch him in certain fights on Youtube. One thing I have noticed with Serhiy is that he tends to fight to the level of his opposition

    I agree whilst disagreeing bailey.

I think martinez will get a gift decision, or at best win a contentious close technical battle.

The most unlikely situation is dzinzuruk getting knocked out. Closely followed by dzinzuruk being clearly outboxed.

A good solid effort by dzinzuruk will see him fairly comfortable behind his jab, however I expect politics to ensure martinez takes the victory.

I can see where you are coming from. It wouldnt be popular for Dzinziruk to succeed where Williams, Cintron and Pavlik failed

Martinez is going to school this Eurobum. Struggled with Joel Julio and Daniel Santos. Giving up 6 inches in reach. Easy work.

Have you also not considered if you are following those lines that Dzinziruk beat Santos that beat Margarito that beat Martinez???
