You can guarantee if dzinzuruk did get the decision, the ring would strip him and try to recreate their own linearity.

Dzinzuruk is old, solid, unspectacular, durable and unknown.

I really can't envision martinez succeeding against this style. Infact I believe someone like williams would serve better by negating the jab with sheer volume of punches.

I could be reading it wrong but from my respective dzinzuruk has all the tools to beat martinez whilst having none of the tools to become a mainstream star.

The one wildcard element is the weight, but considering martinez's recent history as a lmw I think it will be a non issue.

dzin is decent. but it hink he is a bit robotic and nowhere near as talented as martinez. i see sergio winning this rather easily and possible hurting dzin in the process. im sure if martinez wins alot of people who support dzin will say he was robbed and that america is corrupt. but we will see

 Yeah cuz Martinez of then is clearly the same as Martinez of now.

You seem to struggle to understand fighters get better and some fighters get worse? Why? You struggle the same way with Glen Johnson?

    When'd you start following boxing?

Sergei Dzindziruk is going to bust sergio up. His low hands style will cost him in this fight. Martinez is getting a little hyped on here now.

I dont doubt Martinez has improved. I think Martinez is a great fighter. I was just giving you a form line when YOU noted about Dzinziruk having a hard fight with Santos. Dont YOU realise that fighters can raise their games? Maybe not :nut

Do you guys really think dzinziruk wins 7-8 rounds vs a guy like martinez, there might be some close rounds but even if its a close fight then boxing politics will have martinez win a close decision. I think dzinziruk will have avery tough fight and needs a perfect fight to win.

This will look very much like Sturm against DLH. A boring technical match in which the favorite gets beaten stubbornly over 12 rounds.

I would be very surprised if Martinez could work Dzinziruk on the inside. Nobody has to date. This is the antithesis of Paul Williams.

    Question time:

Can Dzin really keep up with the speed of Martinez and movement of Martinez?

When was Martinez ever favored by politics? His entire career is fighting against politics and I don't think he ever was helped by judges, same thing can't be said about Dzinziruk.

Anyway, I hope for a nice fight and fair judging.

I think he wins a UD too. Martinez relies on athleticism, but Dzinziruk relies on fundamentals behind a solid jab.

Me too, he's an extremely live underdog. Aside from his obvious talent you see with alot of fighters in Mertinez's position they only get up for the big fights and under perform in fights they're expected to win, he can't afford to do that at all tonight, anything less than an A+ performance and Dzinziruk could steal it.

Dzinziruk has speed when required, he may not be as fast as Martinez but has a solid jab that I think will remove alot of Martinezs speed
