He has a great jab, but the timing for Dzin has to be perfect because Martinez will be on his toes most of the fight.

It really is an intriguing match up

I think his jab will keep Martinez backing up and making him a bit more negative than usual

Can Dzin do that for 12 rounds?

I think he can do it for long enough to win a decision

If dont think a one good jab will win him 7 of the 12 rounds, Martinez will adapt and force Dzin to fight using more combinations

Its not just one good jab that I was thinking of, though I do think that jab will be a potent weapon.

Dzin hasn't been in the ring with a fighter that's as physically gifted as Martinez is. Above average defense, very quick hands and respectable power. Maravilla obviously studied the Razor's jab throughout camp, and IMO will come out with more surprises than Dzin can handle.

    Martinez TKO 9

Martinez will win but look very bad in this fight. I wont be surprised if hes given a gift tonight.

Exactly my point. Martinez has worked long and hard to get to where he is - a trend setter. Of the top p4p rated fighters, he is fighting the most consistent challenges. He is currently a poster box for boxing, willing to fight anyone, highlight reel knockout and all in a traditional weight class.

He is the favourite going into this fight. He will be the fan favourite tonight and boxing wants him to win.

As you said, he fought against politics before. Well he is no longer just an opponent now; he is now one of the main guys.

I wouldnt be suprised if he beats martinez he has an excellent jab that will disrupt any fighter that keeps his hands down he just has to watch for a right hand counter an not let him get discouraged by that punch he needs his jab to win. My prediction is sergey(sp) something like 7-5, 8-4

note that your analysis is entirely "political". Why do you think Sergiy wins? Because Americans are insulated from worldwide boxing? Or because in Britain Martinez's talent was recognized years ago?

That doesn't even make sense. That's your boxing analysis? Way to break down the fight.

He's had a pro-Euro fighters agenda since day 1, when he started posting here. Most of everything he says revolves around the concept of lifting Europe's credibility in the world of boxing...

When he's not trying to raise the Euro figher profiles, he's busy licking the ass of the so-called deluded and ridiculous chincheckers group...
